I picked up a set of stealth irons this morning and played this afternoon with half a set in the bag (5,7,9,AW). The first shot was a 7 iron from 155 right on the money. That's 15 yds on my previous set of p790's. What was most impressive was the incredible feel in addition to the additional distance. Same for the 5 iron and 9 iron. The AW didn't have the same feel on chip shots but felt equally as good on full shots.I hit one poor shot with the 5 iron towards the toe and lost about 10 yds.I also carried half a set of the new Cobra LTDX irons and hit shots with them as well from the same distances. The cobras are more forgiving, the stealth are better feeling, and a few yds longer. I think that the cobras are a true game improvement iron. Handicap 7.

These aren't that great. The bounce is really high and especially with the approach wedge it prevents me from generating any spin and I talked it over with my PGA pro coach and he said that's it's the club not me because I can spin other wedges fine. Also my gapping is like 20 yards with 84 mph club speed with stiff shafts. The fitting only lets you try the 7 iron which felt good but I wish I could have tested all the irons. My fitter didn't seem to know much. I'm kinda disappointed. I probably would be better off with t200 or p790.

I tried these clubs out and noticed my irons are about 5 to 10 yards further and hitting far fewer errant shots. What is very underrated are the hybrids. Wow do they go far and straight more consistently than my long irons.Around the green, my bump and run shots get a little bump so that is getting used to. I don't have that much feel so I tend to over shoot the chip shots. These clubs won't totally fix all my swing problems, the forgiveness of these clubs are insanely good

Purchased these clubs after not playing for several years..Promoted as being forgiving and longer hitting, how could you go wrong!!After a couple of rounds they hit the ball straight and are giving good distances..As with other reviews, the only issue is learning the new distances and occasionally hitting it too long..As for service, this has been nothing short of exceptional.. I live quite remote and these clubs arrived within days.. fast, efficient and great pricing..Couldn't be happier..
These clubs are great for improving your game. The head is very responsive and tells you where you made contact with the ball. Since it's a game improvement set, the ball is super hot off the face on good contact. Every club is fairly strong lofted, meaning more distance with less effort. I average about 170 on a 7 iron hit but with the stealth 7 iron, I was shooting about 180-185. I don't know if it's just me, but I had to change my grip to a neutral/slightly strong grip in order to hit straight. I normally use a strong grip but it was causing my ball flight to sway a few degrees left.
Irons are easy to hit, shots are accurate and feel is good. Definitely a forgiving iron. Still trying to sort out the distances though. A well hit shot can surprise you and go further than expected. Personally, I’m having a gap issue between the PW and AW. It’s hard not to hit the PW 120 yards and I struggle to get the AW more than 105 yards. I’m considering replacing the AW with a 48 degree wedge. Hopefully that will give me a 110 yard full swing club.
These irons are fantastic. So many great things about them. Very forgiving and great action. Great swings are fantastic bullets. Good swings are rewarded with good results. Poor swings/ contact leave playable outcomes. You really have to put a poor swing on them to get a poor outcome. Game improvement performance with a sleek look and look closer to player distance irons than most GI sets, which I really love about them. Had tried a PXG set that is described similarly, but nearly as forgiving, and had to trade them in for a bit more forgiveness.Kudos to Taylormade to offer fitting events that are the best in the business. All data recorded and accessible after the fitting to review. Event is free where I did it, and the guys were fantastic.Super kudos to RBG for ... MoreThese irons are fantastic. Was in the Palm Springs store to hop on the simulator with my irons at that time. One of the pros took a look at my stats and my clubs and asked, "How old are these irons?" I answered I thought they were about ten years old. He checked out the clubs and let me know they were in fact 17 years old. He set me up with the Stealth irons with a standard flex and I was immediately hitting the ball 20 yards further with each iron. They have a good feel, good loft and are easy to hit. Would definitely recommend.
I needed to get a set of more forgiving clubs that were not as jarring to hit than my prior set of steel Ping g-25's. I have been recovering from cancer and have not been able to play for well over a year. I have played with four rounds with the irons A-5 irons graphite shafts and they are amazing! Great feet, picked up about 5-10 yards per club miss hits do NOT hurt you they still go straight. So impressed with the irons I picked up the Stealth HD Driver, 3,5, and 7 woods and they are nothing short of amazing. Still working on the distances coupled with playing out of the fairway way more than I ever have (lol). I researched several other game improvement irons and these came out on top off all of them forgiveness, distance and they to straight. Coming from a single digit index player it's great to be out golfing again. Don't get me wrong I'm shooting in the high 80's to mid 90's but that's just lack of play and fighting cancer but doing it with a huge smile on my face to be able to play again with clubs that give me the confidence and tech to get out and enjoy the game. Thank you Taylor Made!
Paid off all our Christmas bills and before our insurance bills show up, I purchased a new set of Stealth iron. Needed something to replace my TM Burners 2.0. Read every review and watched every Youtube video. After hitting the irons at Golf Galaxy, my choice was made. They're easy to hit and I noticed a big difference in distance. And it's not just that the clubs are hopped up a bit. Unfortunately, because of the weather, I haven't played a round with them. But have made numerous trips to the range! And I'm pleased!!
