I bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. Had to pay postage to France as not covered under Amazons free delivery but still worked out to be quite a good deal. Delivery was quick and well packed. On opening the massive bag, was a little surprised at the way in which the bags were haphazardly packed. Just tossed in the bag with not the usual impeccable arranged packing found in smaller batches but I suppose this is to be expected considering the nature of the packaging. The double teabags looked identical to other teabags in a small box we had purchased in UK and brought back to France and using a precision electronic weighing machine we confirmed that the weight of each teabags was ... MoreI bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. The doubts about the quality of the teabags started after the first brew when we noticed a distinct difference in the flavour and strength compared to the known highquality bags we had already in our possession. We tried allowing more time for the bags to brew, but the result was the same. We have now resorted to using 3 teabags to obtain a decent mug of tea for 2 people. We use just the right amount of water in the pot to obtain exactly 2 smallish mugs of tea. So, my question has to be Are these teabags the usual TOP quality or have they been degraded and put aside during a quality testing process If this is the case, this should be clearly marked on the packaging and mentioned in the Amazon description.

My absolute favourite tea brand, and I’ve stuck to the same brand for years! No other brand comes and I absolutely love the taste and the flavour and the way the tea brews! Packaging is always great and it’s really good value for money, especially when you buy the bigger packs !!!

I live in Yorkshire and the water here is very hard. This tea is perfect for hard water! The taste is also great. Nothing exciting, just a good cuppa black tea. The packaging is nothing fancy. These aren’t individually wrapped. They are connected two at a time, but in three years of using these tea bags I have never accidentally ripped any open when separating them (unlike store brand tea bags which are always seeming to rip open and scatter tea leaves everywhere). I have only deducted one star because when I have had this tea with softer water the taste is not quite as nice. Perhaps I’m just used to the Yorkshire water!
I was given a teapot as a gift so have been trying loose leaf tea .....This was really disappointing....the contents of the packet did not look like tea leaves, had the appearance of used, dried coffee.....no visible actual leaves...it tasted just OK. I have mixed it with some Waitrose english breakfast to use it up. I will not purchase this again.
Enjoying my fine cuppa here in Kentucky and also provides me a reason to use my fancy schmancy tea strainer. An old woman told me once that tea tastes different and better in a china cup than in a mug; and I've found it true. Robbie Davis, Owensboro Kentucky USA Your website was easily navigated and the leaf is great.
Yorkshire red is our everyday tea-break tea, with good colour and excellent taste, it provides a reliable refreshing brew. Our insulated stainless-steel plunger pot (sadly now discontinued by Ikea) gives a second mug that's just as good as the first. We used to bulk-buy 1kg bags, thinking this must be cheaper, but sadly no... do the sums and the 6-lane case of 250g, with its extra packaging, comes in at £10 per kilo, when a kilo bag costs £12.45. There's bound to be an economies of scale-type reason for this, but it still doesn't make sense to me or the grey bin.
Bought this as my usual loose tea has sky rocketed in price. I'd heard this was a good alternative. I really didn't like it. It's very fine compared to my usual tea, almost like dust, and no matter the temperature of the water, brewing time or amount used, I just couldn't get a cup of tea that wasn't super bitter. I've been unable to get even half way through a cup before tipping it away. And usually, with a good quality tea, you can get 3 or 4 steeps that get sweeter with each one, but this just got more bitter when trying to do a second steep. If you're used to cheap tea then you may find it okay, but for me it's a never buy again.
If you want to be transported to a cafe in England or imagine being at Harrod’s for afternoon tea, this is a must have. Smooth and delicious! My English colleague brought it back from a visit to London recently. Best afternoon treat ever. I usually drink Harney’s and this is now added to my list of must have things in the world
Ever since I've found this tea, I stick with it. Nice tea, but wish it was full cut leaves that doesn't cloud up when it gets cold. I usually brew a huge pot of tea in the morning in my coffee maker and drink it all day as iced tea.
