I have a TV lounge that's crazy bright in the morning and afternoon from the desert sun. It makes a great sunroom but not a very good TV room. I had a 65" C7 OLED (2017 LG OLED) sitting there but you could BARELY see the image on the screen. Great for nights but terrible during the days.I decided to take a chance on TCL for two reasons. One is not at all apparent from the EXTRA listing and that's the Onkyo sound system. This is probably one of the best built-in sound systems on any TV anywhere, branded or not. It's ONKYO, after all. The second reason is the latest and greatest Mini LED technology which is very bright and gives you many, many dimming zones for OLED-like contrast and blacks though it cannot match it. However, for a non-videophile like me, it was good enough. I got the TV on sale for 8000 SR and I think it was completely worth it. It was either this or some of the more dull and low-end 85" models. You can never go wrong with larger TVs but the bigger you go, the more the artifacts stand out if the TV doesn't have the right type of panel and processing system. We don't have native 4K here in the Middle East. 100% of my viewing is Netflix, HULU, Peacock, Paramount, Amazon Prime, HBO MAX and Apple TV etc. They all look amazing. Another plus is the automatically shuttering camera that pops in on top of the TV. If you use it for video calls (on Duo, for example), the shutter automatically opens and closes when the app is no longer in use. Neat! The TV is worth it if you get it on sale for 8K or less. Not worth it if you get it for more so wait for the sales.

This is a great TV for watching sports and movies. Very easy to use. Great brightness which was essential for the room I installed it in and blacks are getting close to oled quality. A great added benefit is the built-in onyko soundbar and sub. No need for secondary sound units at all.

I may have a dud, but I cannot recommend this TV to anyone based on the one that I received.I have a warranty call open, but even that has taken 5+ weeks to sort out.The TV itself looks fantastic and the hardware looks premium, I purchased this TV based on a lot of online reviews saying it is a "premium" TV and it was one of the first with MiniLED.I am coming from a Sony 65" X8500e, which used AndroidTV.The TV regularly fails to turn on, often requiring the power to be disconnected at the mains before it will power up.Sound seems to crash regularly, requiring a reboot of the TV (not just a power cycle, but a reboot from the Android interface).TV takes a looooong time to power on, around 3mins. The Android Instant-On feature works occasionally, but not consistently. The TV doesn't have discrete HDMI selection, you have to cycle through the inputs, which I haven't seen on a TV in the last 15 years.I am really worried that this TV won't last long outside of warranty, which, considering the cost, is a worry. This isn't a cheap TV.
I've had this TV for close to 6 months now. The picture is beautiful. Black blacks and bright vibrant colours. The sound is good too with the built in Onkyo sound bar and subwoofer. The big let down is the software. It runs Android TV which is an amazing bit of software on my Nvidia Shield but on this TV it seems to lock up constantly, refuse to accept input from the remote and often gets artefacts on the screen when playing content. I spoke to support but they just said it must be my internet. It's not, my internet is Gigabit fibre to the premises with Aussie Broadband. The software has not had an update since January 2021 even though other regions have had updates that don't work on the Australian model. I'm torn on whether to place a warranty claim or not as I ... MoreI've had this TV for close to 6 months now. The picture is beautiful. Black blacks and bright vibrant colours. Otherwise might be worth waiting until the next model.
I offered 75C825 after I purchased other discontinued model. I come from Sony 55" Android smart TV which I found 75C825 is much faster, bright and having real good sound system and comes with camera. I'm little worried after looking at other review but so far for this 3 days of using this TV, I'm very satisfied.
Its not OLED quality picture, but its very very close. I also have a 65” Pana GZ1000 OLED tv which i love, and is simply the best picture available. I didn’t expect this to be as good as it is considering the $$ spent on a 75” screen, as long as you are sitting directly in front of it (VA panel). Great brightness, contrast and colour once you get the settings setup right. In default settings the screen looks horrible and is far too cool tinted. For a quick fix, just set the picture settings to Movie, up the brightness to about 70 (if in a bright room), and set the Colour temp to Warm and Tint to 52. Set sound preset to Music or Voice for best results. I use a dedicated HT system, but for a TV the built in sound is surprisingly decent with the Onkyo “soundbar”. Good Points: Good picture. Good sound. Android.Improvement Points: Camera not working. But may be need install some correct programm.
I'm far from an audio visual expert but in my lay opinion I really can't fault this TV. The Android OS means I no longer need my chromecast any more. The picture looks brilliant to begin with and only gets better when viewing content in Dolby Vision. Shows that are in HDR+ are SUPER dark but that seems to be more a fault of the format than this TV.The speakers on this TV do a great job too and just like the Chromecast I haven't needed to use my soundbar anymore. All in all I would absolutely recommend this TV and if for some reason I needed to replace it I would purchase the same unit again.
Pros: Good picture. Good sound. Android.Cons: Camera not working. But may be need install some correct programm.
