I have this device. I was involved in the betatest. It's a great tablet for the price. I would recommend to anyone, if not for that the fact that there are still unresolved issues that involve security. I would caution buyers to be careful to check the devices entire system and permissions. If I TCL would just fix these issues for me, I would give a glowing review because I think it's a great product other than the issues I specified.

I was either going to buy this tablet or a Kobo color e-reader, but realizing that I'd be doing more mixed-use of streaming, surfing and reading, I chose this item and I'm glad I did.The screen is everything.. it's sharp, crisp and saturated enough to provide a good color punch for the graphic novels and magazines that I meant to use it for. Purchased in November 2023 and then very happy with the performance at the price point. I really like how I can adjust the screen for reading. I purchased the T-Pen and use it for note taking. Would love a matte/paper like screen cover.
I bought TCL NxtPaper 11 and this is great tablet with very good specs. Screen quality superb and battery life is very good. I was planning to use second tablet but can compete my main tablet. Now watching matches with this guy. Very good. Price is also reasonable after campaign discount.Highly recommended
I'm in love with the paper-like feel of the display on the TCL NXTPAPER 11. It's fantastic for reading and drawing, and the anti-glare feature is a game-changer. The storage capacity is generous, and the fast-charging battery keeps up with my busy schedule. A great buy!

But in other aspects it comes close, but doesn’t reach the finish line. Some examples:Designed with room for four speakers - but no Dolby Atmos circuitry.Eight core processor, but the CPU technology they selected is half a decade old.Android 13 – but there will be no access to newer generations. This is an awesome all-round tablet. I can't reliably comment about hardware performance, as everything out there sold in the last 5 years exceeds my expectations.The only downside is the screen aspect ratio. It's like a giant phone, which is silly. In Portrait mode, ~10% of the screen is just wasted as I usually scroll the text instead of moving my focus to the other half of the screen. In Landscape mode, the height is too small, it doesn't feel usable at all.TCL has better models, 10" and 12" with ergonomic screen aspect ratio, but I can't find them available for purchase anywhere worldwide. It looks like they started with launch of the worst model to upsell later (convert existing customers to better models).
