I recommend the Drag Rc Car to everyone it is a blust using 2S and 3S lipo batteries
A solid starting entry point into rc drag racing. While it won't win any racing championships, it's a great learning vehicle that can be upgraded to competition caliber dragster.
Just now getting the hang of it. I had a bad battery and Team Associated replaced it free of charge and free shipping. I bought a larger set of slicks and front tire (MT) and what a difference that made. I did buy another more mAh (5200) battery and that made it come alive. I will later start thinking about entering into no prep drag racing competition.
My son and I really love driving it. Out of the box on 2s its only goes about 26, but Its not always about speed. My son is 9 and its perfect for him as is on 2s. Could easily throw a 3s in and get another 15 mph. Will eventually look to mod it, but can be good out of the box depending on what youre looking for.
When I got it it wouldn't go in reverse so I had to rebind the controller. But when I did that it made the servo jump, so either the receiver or the transmitter was bad on mine. I had a replacement for it but still. Wasn't that impressed.
I replaced the Esc with a cheap unit and it runs great.. still with purchase price and replacement part, it was a great deal
