TSR isn't a bad game, but it's a big step down from Sumo's previous Sega kart racer "Sonic & All-Stars Transformed." Instead of an expansive and interesting selection of tracks and characters from various Sega franchises, your stuck with Sonic... and everything that entails... Nobody plays the game online, so don't expect to be able to jump into a lobby and find any random people to race. The PC version also suffers from horrible frame pacing, for which there doesn't seem to be any fix. Pass on this one unless you can get it for practically nothing.

A very nice racing gaming in the spirit of mario kart or ctr. Fun, colourful and exciting! It got me hooked. I totally recommend it, if you like this sort of games.

Amazing game play from the start!!!!

Perfect game for the kid in you. I really like the fact that you don't really have to think too much to play this game. This overall is a real fun game to play. I love the Sonic games and the innocence that it brings. No violence and perfect game play all wrapped up in this game from the start.

Fun Game!

Very addictive! Bought it for my 3yo son, but my wife and I play it instead! He will get better at it. It's just hard for him to steer properly, and he gets frustrated and says "it's so borint(boring)" lol It's basically like Mario Kart for Playstation! It's definitely FUN! Seller was great! Package arrived ahead of schedule!

Fun/Great gaming experience for the family

This game was so fun for our entire family. Walmart’s price was cheaper than other retailers, so that was definitely a plus. We loved racing and working together as a team. Loved the skins to customize our vehicles along with the music and great quality graphics. It’s not to easy, so I definitely get the experience from watching the rest of the family maneuver the game. If you love Mario kart, this is a must.

Grandkids love it

Bought as gift for grandson's 7th birthday. He and his 8 year old sister love it. They played it all evening. Hours and hours. They are both quote good at it already. Their mother (28) played with them as well and had fun.

Great Racing Game from Sega!

I enjoy this game very much. It's got lot's of customization options to tune out your favorite Sonic character race car which you unlock by earning coins towards new parts and upgrades through races. I love the game the game very much and it's very fun to play. You can play up to 4 players on the single screen or online in standard or team racing. There's also a ranking system that let's you race to be on the rankings against other racers online. Not all of Sonic's friends are in it though; I'm not sure if they'll include more in DLC. It's got Sonic Tails Knuckles Rouge Big the Cat Amy Rose Shadow that one Robot from Sonic Adventure the red character from Sonic Lost World Blaze Metal Sonic Dr Eggman Chao and that crocodile character.

I fired this game up for a few and my initial impressions are that I'm going to have a lot of fun with it. There is enough here to distinguish it from Mario Kart, which also presents a bit of a learning curve. The "Team" in "Team Sonic Racing" actually has meaning in that you need to be concerned not only with your own placement in the race, but that of your teammates' as well. You can swap items with your teammates and there are different teammate scenarios that cause speed boosts. I can't speak to the multiplayer mode yet.I thought the little quips from the racers was a nice touch (Amy's item hits me; "I owe you one, Amy!"). When it comes to kart racers, it's important to have enough characters that appeal to everyone's desire for fanservice, and I took a quick look at the roster—my favorite Sonic characters are here! Works so well. Get VR goggles. Grandson is joyous.

Sonic… epic for an 8 year old, boys, birthday gift. Remind them to keep neck straight. Eyes up.

please be aware that this is not the 30th anniversary special edition as stated and does not come with an art book, it is just the game! bought for my daughters birthday and was left disappointed as now i am returning for a refund, very you need to amend this description please.
