Beautiful looking pot, well made, disappointed as I thought being cast iron I would be able to keep tea warm in pot on stove top. We have a gas cooktop and the instructions say no open flame. Thus the tea doesn't stay hot for very long.

Love my new tea pot.One point to mention is to give it a thorough clean before use.I found a lot of enamel residue on the inside of the lid.Is a great teapot for style, quality and for keeping tea hot for a long time.

This is the perfect size teapot for one!I have had this teapot for a while now & it gets almost daily use & still in perfect condition. It's even been through the dishwasher a few times & still great [smile]

The stainless steel mesh insert is great quality too - sometimes they’re cheaper inserts, this one is great. The spout is a good design - no dribbling when pouring. Very pleased with this purchase.
Couldn't find a cast iron teapot near me so bought this from Mighty Ape. Fast delivery and cheap too! Love the teapot, looks great, not too heavy but heavy enough to be stable. Great spout means that there are no drips. I am following directions to wash and dry the teapot while it is still warm. See how long that lasts. Glazed interior as well as a bonus. Very happy with the purchase. I would recommend this teapot to anyone who loves hot tea.
