Good value stove top. Sturdy construction and easy to use. Wok stove is strong and comes with handy wok stand.
Cooker works all OK. My only criticism is that the steel brackets that the pots sit on don't fit securely on the stove top. But in saying that it is not unsafe just could be designed a little better. Great unit for the price I would definitely buy it again
Bought the product for fitment into a property we are selling so it hasnt been used as yet, but the installer reported one of the top tines was snapped off out of the box and I have requested a replacement on Warranty - which Good Guys agreed to do - but I am still waiting almost 2 weeks later and the property is about to go on the market.
Beware. I will never buy this brand again! This new Technika cooktop was supposed to replace an older but identical model gas cooktop that was installed in a ceasarstone panel. Guess what, this newer version model has been made slightly larger and will now not fit within the original cut out. I now need to have the ceasarstone panel recut and the cut out made larger to enable this cooktop to fit. If I knew that upfront, I would have purchased a different brand that could fit within the cut out. Now I'm up for expensive ceasarstone cuttting costs.
This cooktop delivers the promise that is as part of the advertisement. Easy to use, clean and highly recommended if you are planning for any 60cm cooktop.
This unit was perfect for a replacement cooktop. Our space was limited due to an earlier fit-out. We were constrained by structural issues. We needed a unit less than 60cm dimension (top to bottom) Even though it is listed at 60cm it actually measured about 58cm which was perfect. This unit looks great and is well finished. It also has good safety features.
not happy.....the technica hotplates are still sitting in the box as they wont fit into the stone bench top cut-out that the current, same model, technica hotplates are mounted in. I now need to find a specialist stone cutter to recut the hole. This should not happen with the same model number from tbe same manufacturer. NEVER AGAIN will I use this BRAND!!
