The cooker connects via WiFi so you can keep track of its progress using the app, and also browse a wide range of recipes using the touch screen on the cooker itself. There were some initial teething issues with setting up the Cook4me Touch. It was straightforward connecting it to my WiFi but I was unable to associate it with my Tefal Cook4me account. However this got resolved by telling the system that I'm based in Ireland, not the UK. Apparently when I received the device Tefal hadn't realised it was available in the UK and hadn't made the relevent IT changes. I was a bit sceptical of the device. Solid, well made piece of equipment. Only cooked a few things on it but it was fine. Power cord is too short, could do with being longer. Bit of a faff cleaning the lid and all the various bits and pieces. Scratched my head once or twice disassembling the lid. Instructions to do this were poor. Im sure I will get used to it and use it often.

What a fabulous kitchen cooker, it's just so easy to produce a fantastic, fast and tasty meal with very little effort and low fuel consumption.My full cooker hasn't been used since I had the Cook4me, there has been no need.So far we've had chilli, pork and smoked paprika, full roast chickens, cottage pies, liver and onion casserole, beef casserole, chicken balti and all absolutely cooked to perfection.Highly recommended, easy to use and easy to clean. There's no way to cook without pressure with lid closed. Either add pressure or open the lid. There's no program for porridge. You can't bake unless you buy an extra lid. Basically, this is not a multicooker, it's just pressure cooker. UI of the touchscreen is suggesting small font labels you have to touch, would prefer bigger buttons instead.
We started off with just pressure cooking chickpeas - that was a great experience and we had wonderful soft chickpeas.Since then, we have cooked spicy lentils, kidney beans and chicken curry and it has been a lovely experience. Food turns out quite tasty and pressure cooking anyway provides a good consistency in cooking.The cooker is very easy to use with straight forward options for stir-frying to start with and then switching to pressure cooking. The options are easy to be follow and helpful. After cooking is complete, the cookers switches to keeping food warm automatically. Excellent pressure cooker. A pleasure to use and so easy with the tilting screen. Great recipes. Lots of convenient options to help with quantities and ingredients. The app makes it even more fun to use. We also have the crisper lid which turns it into a dry frier and makes it even more versatile. No need to put it away in the cupboard after use. It is easy to clean and looks good left out on the workbench. Well done Tefal, another great product.

It arrived and was very easy to use straight out of the box, a very intuitive product.In comparison with the ninja foody, the pressure cooker function is much more impressive and capable. It was easier to set up with a simple-to-use pressure lock already built into the lid. The touch screen feature and follow-along recipe/user guide are a masterstroke, and help to remove many of the fears of pressure cooking.We cooked a full gammon joint and beef casserole, as well as a pasta dish within the first week. I’ve used my new machine a few times with mixed results. It produced an amazing beef casserole in 35 minutes. I was open mouthed at the tenderness of the beef. I did add 3 or 4 of my own flavourings that weren’t in the recipe as I find the Tefal recipes super basic with ingredients. The roast chicken and potatoes were ok but next time I’d cook for 5 minutes more than the directions as potatoes were a bit hard and chicken not tender enough for my taste. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and expect to get better results as I become more used to the machine.What I love is the design - it looks great on my worktop and doesn’t take up too much room. And the ease of cleaning is five stars for sure.
The handles on the Touch are much smaller than on the other two Cook4Me cookers which I have. That makes it’s much more difficult to lift either the pan or the whole cooker and pan when moving it - a poor safety design feature as the whole pot is heavy. I expected the handles to be the same as the ones on my basic Cook4Me and on my Cook4Me Connect. I was disappointed and if I had been able to see the Cook4Me Touch before purchase I would not have bought it. The tilting screen and connectivity are good.
