This compact little air fryer is totally brilliant! I’ll hardly use my oven again. I’ve been travelling recently and have taken this everywhere I go so I can make my meals in accommodation even without an kitchen facilities, it’s been a god send. My sweet potato chips come out perfectly crispy, and I’ve cooked everything including steak, fish, lamb chops, brussel sprouts, chips and reheated a lamb stew. The included grill functions so well. Atlantic salmon coated in grated parmesan is a dream! Very happy.

I'm new to using an air fryer so wasn't sure what to expect. Tried roasting a chicken, it came out crisp and juicy, good for fish and fish cakes, no fishy smell. Tried cooking fresh chips, don't like frozen chips, and not happy with the results but fresh french fries are alot better than fat chips. The only big downside is, apart from storing it, if you do something like fish and chips, once you cook the fish you have to keep it warm in the oven while you wait for the chips to cook. You may as well just cook the fish on the oven on the first place. I could have bought a two draw fryer but don't have room for it. Over all its good

Pretty much performs as advertised. Very flexible in terms of cooking options (grill or fry). Provides a great quick and energy-efficient grill alternative to our extremely inefficient in-oven grill, which makes the oven filthy. And the Tefal is much easier to clean than an oven. And of course the healthy options of an air fryer are legendary.Not as big as some air fryers, so doesn't take up heaps of bench space, but that means its capacity is a little less than the bigger ones - though there's no way you could feed 6 from it, but it's perfect for us as a couple or even for 4. You could even take it in your caravan!

Only had it a week after being very undecided on which Fryer to purchase. But, after much time on the computer checking various brands, size and price, we decided on the Tefal EY505D Air Fryer. So glad we did as it is so easy to clean the pull out tray and it is a great size for our kitchen bench. Cooked chicken pieces last night - wow - perfect and only 15 minutes of cooking. Have also heated up party pies etc with great success. Looking forward to week 2 and more 'chef like' cooking with it. Great for just the two of us.
The crackling on my pork loin roast was perfect, and the crackling on the leftovers didn't go soft in the refrigerator overnight. I was so impressed and such a short cooking time! I also roasted potatoes pumpkin and onions. Everything turns out wonderfully including steaks, chicken, fritters, chips and wedges, as did the chicken nuggets and fish fingers I did for my grandchildren, all with the press of a button! I thought the air fryer would save me money by not using my conve tional oven and I'm sure it will. And its so easy and quick to clean. I love it! And I love Tefal since I purchased their pressure cooker last year.

Shiny covering with trendy colour is smart design. It's not bulky and great to do the frying. I didn't have a chance to try many items but just potato fry. Fantastic product!! Easy to use although instructions included not the best. Good recipe book on Tefal Product website & google recipes on how to cook different things. I tries a few different things:1. Sweet Potato - air fry at 200 degrees for around 10 minutes. Cooked perfectly.2. Salmon Fillets - Air fry at 180 degrees for around 12 minutes. Crunchy skin & well cooked without the oil residue.3. Chips (Frozen pack from store) - air fry at 180 degrees for around 10-15 minutes. Golden brown & crunchy.4. Whole chicken - air fry at 180 degrees for 45-60 minutes depending on size (Roughly 15 minutes for each 500 grams). Turn over at midway point. Crunchy skin & meat comes out soft & smooth.Have not tried grilling as yet but love the product & highly recommend it.

It is very easy to use, there are no complicated or over the top settings, it is very straightforward. The only part that meant I couldn't give the 5 stars and only 4, was that you can't quite fill the basket to the maximum because items in the middle do not cook well. For example, with 1kg of chicken nuggets, it would've been better if I had done it in two batches instead of one because the nuggets in the middle were soggy. However, the nuggets on the bottom and the top were amazing crispy and delicious, and I didn't need to use any oil. The other fantastic feature about this is how easy it is to clean.
