Love it! Bear in mind i have previously owned Tefal, Phillips and LauraStar steam generator irons that I am comparing this Tefal Express one to. it’s light wait and love that you can lock the iron in place and carry it that way. Easy to refill and clean. Holds so much water in the large tank. It has a gentle steam, but if you are using it for too long there will be water droplets on the garment. The pump is nice and quiet. Quick to warm up. The steam cord to the iron is a bit stiff but assume it will loosen up over time. Instructions included difficult to follow but there are plenty of videos on YouTube. Overall love it - more than the previous stem generator irons I have owned and used.

Tefal steam station is fantastic. Compact with the benefits of an iron and steamer in one. The steam setting is powerful and works wonderfully. Stores really well and no tipping over in its secure stand. Harvey Norman click and collect process was so easy and the staff were helpful and fast to get my order to me. Minimal contact during these COVID-19 times is fantastic. Click and collect is at front of store and hand sanitizer station was right there on entry. A great shopping experience and a great product. I recommend any of the Tefal steam stations.

Lots of power and a super nice design. It heats up very quickly. The sole glides effortlessly over many types of fabric. When you switch from a high setting to a lower setting, the cooling is very fast. The amount of steam is also adjusted accordingly. The anti-drip system is intended to prevent limescale from entering the garment with the steam. However, when you iron on a high setting, water drops can suddenly come out of the iron. This has been the case with every iron, so unfortunately also with this one. The anti-scale filter works well and no scale comes out when the steam comes out. The large filling opening for filling the water reservoir is great. Also switches off automatically if you forget to switch off the iron, a nice extra safety system. Excellent steam generator iron, especially for sewing. It has a temperature dial which is essential when trying to fuse interfacing, even difficult to fuse heavyweight fusible interfacing such as Decovil Heavy. Easy to use, great capacity in the water tank. Only downside is that steam is not instant; it takes a couple of seconds for the pump to kick in and send steam to the iron from the tank. Love using this and also find it great for freshening and removing wrinkles in suits/other clothes.
Easy to carry and store. Love the ON/OFF button and manual temp dial. You can use as a dry iron; or you can press the button 3 times to start the continuous steam; or you can hold it down to get the boost. I have tested vertical steam and figured that water will spit out if you immediately hold the iron in a horizontal position while it is spitting steam. Therefore to avoid the water spitting out, don’t do vertical steam and then move straight into horizontal poistion - release the button, wait 5-10 secs.
I am super impressed with this iron - after years of using my Delonghi Steam Generator Iron I was worried that I would never find an iron that I loved again. But I am absolutely in love with my Tefal Express Iron. My work shirts are a nightmare but the Tefal Steam generator iron handles them with ease. So much steam comes out its fabulous. Buy the steam station - yes its a lot more expensive than a standard iron but well worth the investment.
I really loved being able to test his iron. I have not used one like this before so I appreciated this opportunity to see how irons like this work. Here are my pros and cons - Pros - Creates great steam and irons out creases with ease. Easy to use and has a good size water tank. The steam shot is very powerful without making a mark on clothes. Cons- the clip that the iron slots back into is not very user-friendly and quite annoying while the iron is in use. The cord for the appliance is much too short, as I found myself having to use an extension cord to reach the power point wear I normally iron. It also needs to have a clip for the cord when is wound up. The current design to store the cord is useless.

This iron is amazing! I love the safety features - back clip so it can’t slide off the base and front lock to ensure it can’t accidentally burn anyone or anything. The huge water tank is enough to do a full load and the long cord means that it never gets in the way. Adjusting the temperature is quick and easy, the steam on and off trigger is in the perfect spot and easy to use. The iron glides effortlessly across the fabric and makes creases disappear on the first glide. This model promised to be compact, and it delivered IMO.
