This is a great steamer. I had it for a few years. Wanting to buy another soon. The frame is great and long enough to do long items like jeans. Highly recommended

Effective and time saving

The Teflon plate is my favourite feature of this steamer. You can use it to support steaming pleats or crease lines, and it is great for steaming full skirts/dresses. You can start from one side and feed the fabric across with one hand and steam with the other.A small improvement would be to have the steamer hose attached lower on the water reservoir, and allow a few cm more length of the hose to allow top to bottom steaming of long garments more easily.

Good quality steamer for those who have space.

A sensible addition to any home. This steamer heats quickly and works very well. Cotton shirts etc take a little longer, but the steamer is great for silks and other hard to iron materials. You need to have a dedicated laundry/ironing area as it does take up space. Recommend!

Good, but could be better.

Constantly spitting water drops over the clothes, even on the high steam setting. The mesh board comes in handy. Fabric cord easily catches causing fraying.

Mixed Feelings

First time using was a bad experience. Was outshone by a no-brand handheld unit. Might have been because of using in a powerboard. Second time, used in its own outlet and reconnected all hoses etc. and then it worked great

Perfect addition for time poor people

Perfect for those who are time poor! The machine works best on highest level steam, and produces a wrinkle free, wearable garment, working on even the thickest of linen. Pethaps purchase some heat proof gloves as the steam can get hot on fingers when pulling garment down while steamimg. Results are not as sharp as what an iron would produce but it took 3 minutes to steam a thick linen dress with ruche sleeves....of which would have taken over 15 minutes by iron.

Practical and quick solution to ironing

3 choices of steam, quick start up. Could do with slightly longer steam cord and taller upright for longer garments. If steam cord was relocated to lower on the machine it would tangle less with the garment. Love the tefal form for easy steaming of the body of the garment.

Tefal Garment steamer

The purchase experience with Myer is great. I am, however, somewhat disappointed with this product. Even at the highest setting, the steam at best is less than the steam station of the product of the same brand. I did expect better performance from Tefal.

Tefal Steam Cleaner lots of positives

Purchased this as a replacement for my old Tefal Steam Cleaner. It is not as robust a machine as my old one for a similar price, but does have 3 steam settings which is handy and I like the shape of the steam head. Fits well into a small space also

disappointing

I worked with this item as I really did want it to be successful. Every time I used it, and I did try each of the settings, the clothes ended up very damp. I needed to hang the clothes outside again to dry them off. The steamer also had big drops of water coming from it. I also found the handle got very warm.
