Better than an iron

This is the first garment steamer I have had and I love it more than my iron. But I don’t have anything to compare it with. It seems to spit a bit so leaves wet spots now and then which haven’t been an issue. Googling says that it is because it needs to be cleaned but it’s new so I’m doubting that explanation. Otherwise it is great.

Buyers remorse

It's hard to believe these reviews. I was so happy with the idea of this product but in practice it barely works. It is not high-efficiency in any way. It barely removes creases and as for last minutes touch ups, the steamer spits water onto the garment so you can't go anywhere until you've dried the wet spots. I get so mad every time I try to use it and I'm kicking myself I didn't keep the receipt. The steam output is nothing like the photoshopped image. And on the high setting it bubbles loudly before switching off to heat again. Really inconsistent and poor performer. Complete Rubbish

Once it heats up water gurgles and bubbles in the base and then leaks out everywhere. it failed to buildup enough steam to straighten anything! The water tank is gravity fed and has no seal whatsoever where it connects with the base. There is no handle or anything to help pick it up and you have to lug the whole big base around to move it (very hard for wife to do). Just pathetically inadequate design all round. Net result was wet floor and no impact on any garment. Absolute trash straight out of the box. Never returned an appliance so promptly and will never buy one again from Tefal

Dont do it...

Not impressed. Should have paid the extra money & got an industrial one. Wish I had kept the box would have returned. Splatters water....last one was from a cheap one from Aldi. It was much better

Easy to use steamer

Very easy to assemble and takes up very little space, so easy to use. The 2 heat settings are great for delicate fabrics. Heats up fast makes it quick in the mornings.Only thing that would make it better is if the clothes hanger would spin around so you can do both sides.

Good for what it does

Great at steaming thin fabrics. A bit more challenging for linen or anything that needs a strong press. Had trouble doing the bottom of long dresses etc, as it likes to be held up high and didn't work effectively down low. If you dislike ironing then I would still recommend then, as it does make ironing less hassle and a little more fun.

Great low price steamer. We have bought two now the first one was so good. Lightweight handy and excellent stream. Highly recommend

Tefal Pro Style upright steamer

The stand is quite flimsy for the price you pay you would’ve expected a more solid stand. The hanger for shirts is quite awkward to use and doesn’t fit shirts properly either. If this was fix it would’ve be an excellent product. I would not recommend this product the words “Pro Style” is clearly a marketing technique.

Useless

It is not what we expected at all. We bought it with lots of excitement thinking that in our two story house it would be perfect for my upstairs wardrobe. But it has disappointed us miserably. There is lots of steam but it doesn't do much at all to take out creases. we bought from Harris Scarfe and wanted our money back but did not get it.
