Tefal have done it again with a fantastic product. Absolutely a great multi fryer. So handy; easy to use and very easy to clean. Wish I had discovered it sooner.

Was very impressed with this deepfryer. Very quiet and not messy when frying. Haven't tried the other options for cooking but I was happy with results when I made chicken katsu out of it. Very easy to clean too. Just chuck the frying bowl and strainer into the dishwasher and your good to go.

The first died after a mistake on our end, we put chips in that had too much moisture and the oil boiled over and contaminated the whole unit causing it to trip our safety switch when plugged in. The unit has a removable fryer bowl that can be put in the dishwasher which makes cleaning very easy. The rest of the unit is plastic which is a shame as the lid warped over time from heat and ended up not fitting quite right. The filter built into the lid is a fabric type and can be washed easily but after time, shrunk and distorted meaning it did not cover the vent completely. The timer is all but useless - fiddly to use and so quiet, it's very difficult to hear when it goes off. The unit performed well, heated quickly and held it heat well when frozen food was put in it to cook. When our first unit failed, even with some of the negatives of the design, we decided to replace it with an identical unit. Unfortunately, the second new unit seemed to be faulty - it never got hot enough to deep fry before the thermostat switched it off meaning it took 3-4 times longer to cook and the food came out oily and mushy instead of crisp. We were probably just unlucky and got a new unit with a faulty thermostat but ended up returning it for a refund and purchased a different unit. We were very disappointed that Tefal would only repair the unit and wouldn't offer a replacement (repair quoted as 2-3 weeks) even though it was brand new but Myer were great on the return policy and offered a no fuss refund.

Non-stick breakfast to casseroles to crispy deep fried fish and chips!This and my airfryer and im set in my kitchen.4* because i havent worked out the perfect temps yet and the auto-cutoff isnt quite as responsive as id like but the slide guide temp settings are good and not really a drama.
This cooker does not fry food to a crispy texture. The food goes soggy as the temperature drops as soon as it reaches maximum and food just sits in the oil till the pan starts heating up again. You get an oil absorbed soggy laden schnitzel and chips. Phoned Tefal only to encounter a rude unhelpful man. I’d like to speak to someone but not him. This pan is a failure and does not do what it’s meant to do. Terrible item and most of all horrible customer service.

My new Versalio 7 in 1 MultiFryer is fantastic. I love it because it is very versatile. I can use it for many different functions. For me it is space saver. Instead of having several appliances, the MultiFryer can deep fry, pan fry, simmer, braise, saute, boil/pasta and keep meals warm. It is easy to clean and I love it.
This frypan does not do what it’s meant to do. When shallow frying or deep frying the thermostat reaches the maximum temperature for that setting and stops heating. It takes ages for the heat to come back on. In the meantime your food sits in the oil and becomes a soggy mess. Chips are not crisp and schnitzel just has soggy crumbs. Please note that I contacted Tefal and spoke to the most rudest customer service person who told me to go back to Appliances Online even after advising him that I had used the appliance. He said that it was Appliances Online who had to help me which is not true. Appliances online are fantastic and their customer service is fabulous. Just don’t deal with Tefal. This fryer is absolute rubbish.
