Plenty have voiced it to the devs on Twitter but will likely be ignored. DLC and paid costume customisations announced this week though - priorities.

However, the lag isn’t exactly choppy; it’s more of an overall slowdown of the fights. Your inputs still register as you intend, albeit a little slower than in single-player. Lobbies and matches connect almost immediately, and you can even upload replays and “ghosts” of your performances for others to download.As a fighting game, Tekken 6 proves why it’s been a consistent success for over a decade. It saddens me that most people wont experience this story due to them not being open minded to fighting games or anime. If you were a fan of Tekken at any point, this is a must own title. Even if you havnt played since the arcade days. Multiple reviews on youtube can get you more details, but know its a fully packaged game with one of the largest amounts of single player content in any fighting game in the industry. I tell my friends that this is the only anime story you’ll ever need in your life. It goes so hard in the most unapologetically Tekken and Japanese cultrue kind of way. Truely a delight with one of my favorite video game stories of all time! 4.5 out of 5 stars and totally worth the $70.

Bandai Namco's latest entry in their classic fighting game series! Tekken 8 has been a blast to play thus far. 32 characters, a vastly improved story mode, and a wealth of new training options designed to help beginners and veterans alike are just the tip of the iceberg.The game has recently passed over two million copies sold and it still hasnt been out a full month as I type this review(2/24/24, game was released on 1/26/24).Download the free demo and give it a shot. If you like it, the full game is even better and you should get yourself a copy. I can't recommend this game enough.(Tekken 8 is pictured along with Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, another banger title, and the preorder bonus for Tekken 8)
Tekken 8 is the most improved game from the last one. Tekken 7 while is still a good game, it had little offline modes. In character episode mode, you only have 1 fight and than you move on to the next episode. Tekken 8 improved with having 5 fights in each character episodes. Also in tekken 7, only 5 fights in arcade mode but Tekken 8 brings it up to 8 fights. The story mode is also a step up and the new campaign the arcade journey is a big welcome. I also love that you can listen to classic tekken music from all tekken games. Can't wait for more features and additional fighters to come by way of DLC. This game is highly recommended for fans of fighting games.
Most feature packed fighting game that’ll make you want to learn and get better at the game.Tekken has been part of my childhood memory during PS1 and PS2 days. Me and my neighbors would drive to the nearest gaming parlor to play in friendly tournaments. I was fascinated in watching others play. My last tekken experience was Tekken 5 in 2005. Feels so good to be back in a fighting game that’s Tekken 8 after 19 years. As a fighting game newbie, the game features mechanics to let even a beginner like myself enjoy the cinematic fights in story.Then there’s the Arcade mode that teaches you how to fight by learning the fundamentals.

I also recall reading a site where the devs said this was going to ×× amount of hours to beat. I recall it saying 25-30 which i found crazy cause i recall tekken 6 being like super short and it ticked me off. Well let me just say, whatever i read back then lied to me. The story is max 8hours long. Ridiculously short too. I get its a fighting game so the replayability ia very high especially with online. But as someone who plays almost entirely singleplayer this was sad. Even if i play arcade and side character story i wont get much out of it. All ik all, the story was good though. What can I say It's Tekken! Other game creators and producers need to take notes!! I blew my money on that new Street fighter! It's trash! They took away from the older gameplay and fluidity ETC... just to make the background busy and complicated, which is a waste of time!! Tekken 8 is what we're used to. What we want, deserve what a game is supposed to be! In my opinion It's the best game out! Obviously with much better graphics than the old Tekken games from the past! That new engine they're running is amazing!! This is a message to the creators and producers of the Tekken games don't change or take away all the good you've done throughout these decades. Just add to it make it better keep going down the path you're going down we love it!!

Though there's no point to do Low Parries in combat or focusing on movement.The whole metta behind the game is to smash buttons until they mess up and you hit them back with a BIG COMBO!There's little thought behind matches anymore and also I HATE the BATTLE PASS for this game. They're reusing items from Tekken 7 to make more "profit".The story mode is very entraining and the practice mode has great tools for you to get good at the game!I enjoy Tekken 8 for what it is but I miss the Tekken 7 defense gameplay opinions. Only thing we need is Survival, Time Attack, Team Battles, and maybe a Tekken Force mode that's like the one of the later Story Mode battles. And I would love to see one that has a endless mode to it too. Definitely worth 70 dollars, though I wish it wasn't that much since I miss the times full price games were 60 instead.
