Great product that does what I needed and at a price that was decent. Set up was easy to achieve.
After many years my MF910 would not charge. So I purchased this MF910Y. Simply charged it & put in the Sim from the old 910 & it works great.
I bought this when I was asked to start working from home due to COVID, thought it would be good seeing as it supposedly has 8 hours battery life, it does not last longer than 1 hour! It cuts in and out regularly, I should have bought the next one up!
Modem worked great for a year. Then updated from Telstra. Now runs really slow and constantly drops out. Have to reset it through the UI or buttons to get it to reconnect to the internet. There is no way to roll back to previous firmware. Hoping for a new update that will get it working as it used to. It might as well be bricked. Very sneaky behavior by Telstra to sell more modems.
Constantly disconnect. Terrible batery life. My phone hotspot does better job than this garbage
Most phone plans come with data plans, instead of wasting money fiddling with this device why are the phone companies not telling people they can use their phone as a "hotspot" for data???
Used this product to livestream a video I was shooting outdoors at client's location. Setup was smooth and everything worked without a hitch.
