I used to wake up to muscle spasms and pinched nerves pretty regularly in equal-opportunity locals all along the back of neck/shoulders. Apparently I like to get myself in challenging sleep positions that my neck and shoulders don't appreciate the artistry of. It was painful. This little pillow which I have named ("Peanut") because I love it so much has ELIMINATED that problem.I am not claiming it will do the same for you, but I highly recommend giving it a try. It is so comfortable and beautifully supports your neck while sitting/reclining in a chair or as a pillow for bedtime.Good work Tempur-Pedic!

Traveling with my contour pillow has been exceptional!!! Having this smaller size contour pillow fit in my carry on or my backpack is awesome. I now can travel with my pillow to hotels, visiting family, camping or to friends for sleep overs. I'm a side sleeper with some cervical issues and supporting my spine is vital. I sleep thru the night with no interruptions. I use an extra pillowcase on my pillow to keep the original in it's best state. My only regret, not having owned this pillow years ago!!

My summer job requires I drive at night and sleep during the day. With luggage limited to one suitcase, I needed something that would travel well. Imagine falling asleep on the beach with your head resting on the ramparts of a sand castle. The sand gradually conforms to the weight of your head. That is exactly how I fall asleep each morning after driving all night. And best thing is, I can pack it up that night in it's own little bag and look forward to the next morning when it pops out of its bag and is ready for another day of dreams. Its big brother (a regular size tempur-pedic pillow) is back home waiting to hear of little brother's traveling adventures.

I use this travel neck every night! I lay it flat and it's like a soft temper-pedic donut pillow. My head rests in the middle and the height of the pillow provides the perfect amount of cervical support. I know most people are just using it as a travel airplane pillow, but it's so much more than that! I use to to watch television, as a laptop pad, and most importantly I use it to sleep at night! And my neck has never felt better!! I'm currently studying to be a chiropractor, so there are certain things I look for in a pillow. I've had only tempur-pedic mattresses and pillows since they were released many years ago. I even have the body pillow. I have one tempur pedic pillow that I've had for over 10 years. This pillow has only gotten better with time. It's like perfectly kneaded dough. It's soft but has retained its firmness after all these years. My worn-in pillow is my second favorite tempur product after my travel neck pillow. I can't wait for my travel neck pillow to be worn in as much as my doughy pillow!
Extremely strong off gassing fumes from this new pillow. Still there after airing out for weeks and using baking soda. No way am I sleeping on this until that smell goes away. I use this travel pillow as my bed pillow. It's a perfect size and offers great neck support but has definitely changed since the last time I bought one. Didn't have that hideous smell last time.Bottom line, love the pillow, detest the smell.
I bought a Tempur-pedic travel pillow many years ago in Paris which I loved. Then, I recently bought a new one online, but unfortunately it is extremely firm and feels too large. Did the size increase? Clearly something has changed. I have tried sitting on it all day to soften it up but no luck so far. I wish it were slightly softer to begin with. I guess I'm gonna have to keep it but it may take me a long time to break it in.
I am a C-PAP User and have lifelong issues with my skin. I am someone who has an excess of pillows for overnight guests as I have forever looked for the perfect pillow. Regardless of material, I find standard pillows too big and too heavy. I have used the travel pillow for years, but finally realized its usefulness all the time. It provides my head and neck enough support to allow my face and C-PAP mask to 'hover', rather than be squished into the pillow. My skin is healthier, and my mask is no longer pressed into my face. A healthy 'off-label' use for my favorite pillow!
I used this pillow for a 6,500 mile ride around the continental USA where I stayed at a lot of hotels. As some of you would agree most hotel pillows truly suck. This pillow solved that issue for me. Plus I could roll it up and stuff it into the small bag that comes with the pillow; it would easily fit into a pannier not taking up much space at all. Well worth the price for comfortable many nights of restful sleep.
The travel version of my favorite pillow ever works! It fits in carry on luggage when it is squeezed into its big burrito size bag. When it comes to life again I sleep as well as at home. Its narrowness is a small price to pay for the convenient way I get a good night's dreamy sleep. My next trip will be full flat lay business class to London. I am so happy to have the perfect pillow for that bed. I took pillow cases to my tailor and he fit them to both my home neck pillow and its baby brother-the neck travel pillow. I love the little pillow cases.
I have had 3 of these pillows since 2010., when I was diagnosed with a herniated cervical disc. The first two were great. The third one is terrible. It is significantly harder and, despite frequent use in the last 10 months, had not softened up at all. Besides that, the rock-hard character makes it nearly impossible to roll up and zip into its protective sleeve. I have the king size bed version of this pillow, bought around the same time, and it is fine, not nearly as hard and broke in nicely. I will not be buying another Tempurpedic travel,pillow, definitely not worth the money anymore.
