I have this mesh for about 2 weeks now and it's working just fine apart from the App which keeps on showing the nodes are not connected but it is actually working and devices are connected. This is the main problem of the app and should be sorted. All in all, it is a good starting mesh and no more dark zones in my home. Set up is easy enough to follow. Download and upload speeds are almost max on the area where there were minimal signal.

I have a 200Mb broadband service from Virgin Media but even with two sets of virgins own WiFi boosters we struggled with signal to the top and back parts of our house. After much deliberation I settled on the Tenda Nova MW6 and now I cant believe we struggled for so long without these! I now get consistent strong and fast WiFi in the whole house and even the back garden. These are amazing. As a note - I found setting the virgin media hub/router in modem mode and using the Tenda devices to run all the WiFi was the best and fastest option for me. This does mean that you lose use of the Ethernet connections on the virgin hub, BUT I easily solved that by running an Ethernet switch from the first Tenda device back to everything I had connect that way.

Have been running this mesh system for a month and no glitches whatsoever! Very easy to set up, not complicated at all! I had no problems setting tHis up on my newly installed virgin fibre, it works like a charm and covers the whole house, and trust me some of our walls are thick and did cause problems before. Would I recommend this product? Yes without any hesitation. It works and simple set up!

I have Virgin Media router and this as a kind of bridge which essentially gets the signal round the large house, gives me 60 MBS plus consistently and 100+ from the first node. Important tip!! In the settings app in "capacity oriented mode" it automatically throttles the connections as it assumes more than 30 devices want to connect, you need to disable this feature, i went from 5 to 50+ immediately on the speed. Great entry level Mesh system, easy set up, 99% of users dont need the fancy settings that other mesh systems have.

Whilst the app allows you to control various settings, features and so on I have no real I interest in what these units can or can't do compared to more expensive models, I am just a normal user and these were a cinch to set-up. I wish I had got them years ago and recommend you give them a go.
Very easy set up. The Tenda WiFi app is user-friendly. I didn't have to make any tweaking to my Virgin Media hub to get the Nova nodes working. Wifi dead spots in my house now have strong internet connectivity. It is definitely worth the money.
At this price I was not expecting too much to be honest. However, I am pleasantly surprised. Set up of the initial unit was not quite as simple as indicated. WPS did not work for me. After reading the manual instructions, set up of the first unit was achieved on the second attempt. Installing the two subsequent units was a breeze. We have coverage around the house and the wifi extenders are redundant. One point was that I can no longer link to a NAS HDD which was connected to my Plusnet router. After downloading instructions from the internet I had to change the settings from DHCP to Bridge and all is well again. I would definitely recommend.
Got these as my Vodafone router in my living room was not giving me adequate signal strength in my upstairs office. Was getting somewhere between 10/20mbps download speeds before installing the Tenda Nova MW6 mesh system. I am now getting 59mpbs! Only slightly slower than a direct connection to my router. I no longer have any dead posts and I even get good WiFi in my driveway and garden which is very handy considering I dont have great 4g coverage in my area. The app isnt the best, something Tenda need to work on, but it is a very easy to set up. Does the same job as some more expensive kit but great value for money and easy to use, pretty much plug and play. 10/10 would most definitely recommend.
I bought the Tenda MW12 Mesh WiFi 3 pack several weeks ago. I had issues to connect with my optical network terminal (ONT) so had to connect through my existing router. I stumbled onto my ONT packaging today and could then set the primary Tenda LAN IP address to be within the ONT IP range. The Tenda can set ranges 10.x.x.x ; 172.x.x.x ; 192.x.x.x So can now sell my old router. Now I have top speed of my fibre all over my home, garage and garden. The MW12 Wifi is really solid. I would recommend the purchase if you have lots of IOT devices and want great coverage everywhere. If you have an average size home try a 2 pack. The Android Tenda app is also very useful.

Using Skype is about 25% effective with lots of dropped connections. I work with large spreadsheets (100Mb+) and most of the time during the day, these took more than half an hour to download or simply failed. Speaking to VM helpdesk, they reckon its due to IOS devices having better WIFI connectivity whereas PC equipment is much weaker and needs a booster.I did a bit of reading up on WIFI mesh systems and of the money, decided the Tenda MW6 is cheap enough to try.
