I've got a sensitive and picky nose, and I gave up trying to find scents that weren't overly aquatic, gauche or fruity back in the late aughts. I put this on in the morning and get little whiffs of it throughout the day that always make me pause to admire it. Everything here is just right and infinitely wearable, measured and understated. Most consider this a fall or spring fragrance but it works well in the summer outside of the very hottest days and in the winter when the spice beneath the citrus really shines. Can't ask for much more in a fragrance.

I’m an easy to please fragrance fan. I’ve heard Terre d’Hermes get described as a “masterpiece” multiple times. Most fragrance aficionados would actually agree. However, in my 50-100 bottle collection, this is easily one of the least likeable ones I own. Not only do I not enjoy it as much as I enjoy my others, I have never received a positive comment when wearing it. This opens as a very woody and citrusy fragrance that settles down into a vetiver bomb (and not much else). This fragrance is pretty much only vetiver to me, and that is not what I’d call a masterpiece. Most people disagree with me, especially so since this fragrance is on multiple “greatest of all time” lists, but I cannot recommend this.

Since buying a bottle of TDH Pure Perfume flanker, I’ve sampled 10 more fragrances and none of them came close to the wow-factor this one had on me. It’s quickly become my signature daily scene in the summer months. Such a versatile fragrance to wear anytime-anywhere with the citrus opening, woody dry down, the flint note, and a slightly powdery third act. Sillage and longevity isn’t something I’m concerned about since I prefer my fragrances more intimate and for personal enjoyment but I’ve received compliments from wearing this in the recent weeks. A timeless fragrance

Terre d'Hermes was the first fragrance I ever bought, way back in 2009 and now, 13 years later I'm pleased to say it smells as timeless as ever. Whilst both are beautiful, the citrus notes are less noticeable in the Parfum, where the vetiver and earthy notes are more prominent. The EDT also projected more on my skin whilst the Parfum lasted slightly longer.The fact this fragrance remains as popular 16 years after it was released says everything. I can't think of an occasion which Terre d'Hermes wouldn't be suitable for; date nights, business, holidays, it's beautifully suited for all.

Great Scent

] I have to start by saying it's Very sharp, Clean and peppery at the opening and dries down to nice warn with deep woody and citrus scent that smells heavenly. It's a Great scent that's not to complex but gets the point across with citrus and clove then moves into grapefruit, pepper and cedar ... which finishes off with patchouli and vetiver. This is supposed to be a Fall/ Winter scent but in my opinion believe it can be worn anytime of the day during any season. The initial projection is about 2-3 hours and lasts about a good 8 on it's Amazing Dry down. I did not like the bottle at all .. but that could just be because it's a dapper bottle in a sample size. I'm sure any guy would truly appreciate this scent and that's coming from an extreme picky nose.

I love this scent

If you like vetiver scents, but not too overpowering then this is a fantastic choice for you. It has a classic “man in charge” type scent geared toward an older crowd. Fantastic in colder and cooler weather but not really appropriate for hot days. People have dubbed it the “dirty orange” because of the citrus and vetiver and some days I can see that but it’s not in any way off putting. Other days I swear it reminds me of walking through a mossy pine forest. Performance wise it is a stand out for me and my skin chemistry. Projection; 4-6 hours. Silage; 10-12hours basically all day my fiancé can smell it as I walk by her. Stays on skin and clothes until washed. Really. Try leaving it on a hoodie and put it in the closest it will still smell like it two weeks later

I have to say that it is one of the best scents I have ever tried. I love it, so much so that it could be my signature fragrance without problems. Citrus and the smell of soaked earth, if I close my eyes it's like walking through an orange grove soaked by rain. Memorable, elegant and refreshing, a true wonder. I notice it lasting very well both on skin and on clothes, it doesn't have too much sillage, maybe only for the first two hours, but this is difficult to appreciate unless you constantly ask people. In short, if you are looking for an elegant and masculine fragrance, try it. It is not a blind purchase but if you like it you will love it.

Perfect Blend of Citrus and Woody Fragrances

Terre d'Hermès is a fantastic scent. I first notice the citrus, which is a clean and refreshing aroma. Shortly afterward, I notice the woody fragrance. The blend of the two is very well done. I think the citrus and woody fragrances complement each other nicely, and my wife agrees. Some other fragrances I’ve tried are too citrusy or woody, or the blend of the two is offputting. That isn’t the case here. I also like that spraying just a small amount goes a long way. The scent lasts for most of the day without being overpowering. If you like citrusy or woody scents, you don’t have to choose one or the other with Terre d'Hermès. The blend of the two is unique and captivating. I recommend giving it a try.

This brand is definitely been out there for a long time, but my first time acquiring a cologne which definitely attracts me to the brand for the specific cologne, and to try out others. This specific cologne has a beautiful, not so strong, elegant fragrance smell to it it has definitely attracted Others to ask what I am wearing the cologne also last fairly long throughout the entire day and not a lot is needed at all to help the coverage of time. I definitely smell some cinnamon and a little bit of honey or something sweet personally, I could definitely see myself wearing this out during the evening time or for a business meeting and also at any type of function does clone definitely has some classy smell to it.
