Also, with the added height I didn't have to deal with rocks and detritus getting trapped between foot and shoe, which is my kryptonite in Chacos.

These definitely run smaller than Chacos if I wanted them to fit like the photos. Once I exchanged them, they are super comfy and squishy. I wear them for casual events. I would not wear them for the same sorts of activities I wear Chacos. They do not have the support for activities like hiking or extended periods standing on concrete. I wore these for over 5 hours on a kayaking/river hiking tour. My feet never fatigued and I had no issues with the continuous transitions from water to land, although I was grateful to change into dry shoes after the tour after having wet feet for that long. I'm usually a size 8/7.5 in sandals and I'm glad I sized down to 7 as I don't prefer shoes that look like they're too big on your foot, and I surely would have scuffed the toe. They feel incredibly stable despite the taller soles. I have bony feet and had no issues with any of the plastic joints rubbing my ankles, etc. Suddenly I'm not so upset that my dog chewed up my Chacos.

I’m literally obsessed with these shoes. I wear them everywhere and theyre so so comfy and light. I feel like they’re lightweight sneakers. I have a different shoe thats also strappy Velcro from Vionic and these Tevas are SO much nicer. They were a little stiff on the first wear but ive figured out how i like the straps to lay and i will not take them off. I kid you not as well- all of my friends i have worn them around, compliment them and stare. I never rly write reviews but i swear i could be a spokesperson for these shoes and i want them in every colour. I almost got the regular flat ones before but am so glad i went with these instead. The platform is so comfy and the tread has a good grip

I wear my tevas everywhere. To work, school, on walks, yard work, etc. They are the most comfortable sandal I've ever owned. I used to have Chacos and they were hard, would give me terrible blisters, and would suffocate my foot. These sandals are adjustable so I can get the perfect fit for all kinds of activities. The sole is squishy and forms to my foot while still providing great support. I've never once gotten a blister or any discomfort from wearing these! I would recommend to anyone looking for an everyday cute sandal! They can even be hiked in! Overall, a worthwhile purchase!

I am completely and totally obsessed with these sandals. I've never owned anything this comfortable and supportive in my whole life. I have chronic sensory motor neuropathy, a couple of torn ligaments in my right ankle, as well as plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis on both sides. It's A LOT and I have a really hard time finding shoes that really, truly support all of those issues. My physical therapist is now even recommending TEVAs to clients because of how well these are supporting me, and keeping me from pronating. If you have neuropathy issues, these are the absolute BEST around because of the platform. If you have any of the others, all TEVAs are the answer. I can not recommend enough!!!
Loving these so far! I'm between sizes and went up to the bigger size. The footbed is super cushy yet firm and supportive. Love the more rugged/durable outsole vs the standard Teva foam sole. There's a bit of prickly Velcro stuff right where the straps attach to the footbed that's irritating but as I've worn them, it has worn down and won't be a problem. I got the khaki and it's a really nice neutral. Have already recommended these to other friends and look forward to wearing them as my go-to casual summer sandal ahead of Birks or other flat leather slides with no support.
These are super cushy and I like the bulky look of them. I did a couple shorter hikes in them and they did surprisingly great on sharp lava rock and didn't get scuffed up at all and had great traction and support on uneven rocks. The second hike was to a waterfall we we went in the water. I got little blisters on the tops of my little toes on the way down where the strap attaches to buckle. Not sure if they need more breaking in or that will continue to happen when wet. My husband has baby feet and wore brand new Chacos and didn't have an issue.
