The Teva Original is one of the best sandals I've purchased. I was initially looking at different Teva models- I've bought them in the past for outdoor activities like hiking. I came across the Teva Original and the price seemed too good to be true. All the other similar models I looked at were priced considerably higher. Because of their money back guarantee, I went ahead and made my purchase, not expecting much. I have used it to walk long distances for over a month and can say this is as durable and comfortable as higher end Tevas.

These sandals are perfect for everyday and active wear in the warmer months! I wear them to work, around town, and for paddle boarding. The soles are a little on the thin side for them to be comfortable for me to wear them hiking as larger rocks and sharp items can still be felt through the sole. I love that the straps are adjustable so I can put socks on with them in the evening when it gets cooler, or tighten them down for more security on longer walks as my feet get sweaty and start to slide around. When I tighten them down, I do tend to experience some rubbing around the outside of my foot where the straps go over my foot/toes, but usually I just keep wearing them and then a callus will build up and I'm good to go for the summer! Bought these just before a trip to Costa Rica. Wore them a tiny bit at home before hand, but not much at all. I did a fair bit of light jungle hiking over thick mud, on slippery rocks and steep dirt track hills- the sandals really surprised me in being robust and super comfy. The soul has a nice cushioned feel to it, yet feels sturdy and supportive. Only slight issue was the outer triangular bit on the front straps rubbed a tiny bit by the little toe- but no where near enough to cause a blister or discomfort after taking them off. As someone who really hates the look of ‘regular’ walking sandals, these were a great alternative- overall, a really good purchase!

I'm completely sold on these and have told all my friends about them. They're extremely versatile in hot and cold temperatures (socks and sandals when it gets cold!), and they dry so quickly which is essential to staying warm while camping. They washed easily too. I'm blown away by how durable they are because you really couldn't tell by looking at them. But I've stepped in rocky/branchy terrain and they have held up, no punctures or dents. That being said, I wouldn't recommend them for hiking but they're perfect for camping. I really wanted to love these beautiful sandals, but I found the soles to be simply an unshaped sponge, that—on the undersides, beneath the toe areas—were unfathomably grip-free and slippery. I very nearly fell, trying to walk in them when I tried them on!I also found the canvas straps hard and unyielding. The seams on the straps where they fastened around the metal loops were especially rough and chafing.As a consequence of these traits, I found the sandals uncomfortable and unwearable.

These are my first pair of Teva's. The flower design caught my eye and I decided to give them a try. I usually wear a size 6 and that seemed to be the correct size for me according to their handy measuring chart. They fit well, maybe slightly wide but it's not really much of an issue. The bottoms are very comfortable and cushy and the velcro is easy to adjust and makes taking the shoes off or on very easy. Wore them on a trip with boat and walking around time. Still comfortable after a long day. Give 'em a try!
I got these being sceptical as I have very wide feet and usually have trouble finding sandals that fit and are comfortable. Now, these are definitely not the cutest or most fashionable out there, but they certainly are perfect for long walks when on holiday, moderate hiking and general being out and about. I wore them on a long day in Venice for the first time and didn't get ANY blisters, rubbing or sore feet! They are just amazing! If you are questioning whether to get these, just do it, you won't regret walking in them.

They're delightfully mismatched, and so comfortable I hardly take them off all summer. I ordered these because I fell in love with the flower pattern on the straps. In trying them on however, I noticed that the straps were very stiff and scratchy due to the pattern being printed on them instead of being an intrinsically woven part of the strap fabric, like I'm used to. They felt very plastic-like, and I knew in just a few steps that they would very quickly cause blisters if I were to keep them.
