WOW! Tried on a pair at a shoe store and immediately bought them! I wore them around for a day and then immediately ordered two more pairs from the website. I AM IN LOVE with these shoes! They are so comfortable I want to ditch my sneakers and live in only these shoes. What a great product - must be if I'm actually writing a review on SHOES! These sandals are so comfortable and cute. I get compliments on them all the time and I do really prefer them over knock off brands. I have tried knock off and the soles aren't as comfortable and I am a person with very sweaty feet and the soles in these help my feet with a better grip and I don't slip and slide in them. These also saved me on Vacation when walking in the sand. The other shoe options I had did not work at all and my brother in law had a pair of these and I wore his to the beach and they saved me. I immediately bought a pair that night so I'd have a pair by the time we got back from vacation! I can't say enough how much I love these and they are so easy to clean which is also a plus !

I've wanted a pair of Tevas with a celestial pattern for so long, a pair that wasnt as bulky as the ones meant more for hiking instead of just walking. I finally splurged and got these and I'm going to have to return them.There is no padding/cushioning inside any of the straps, which means chafing. I wore these up to the grocery one block away and back and I was already developing a blister because of the straps at the toes rubbing against the inside front of my right foot. The strap is placed so it's right against the bone and there's no way to avoid or reposition it. Instant problem. You can slide right across tile/linoleum with no effort - I nearly slipped and fell on the way to the elevator in my building. This is just no good at all. The Universal Trail is also light and feels less solid than they used to before Teva started using these new materials, but you can tell it's a good shoe, and the traction is great on smooth surfaces, plus there is the cushioning.There's just no reason to strip this shoe from the traction soles or padded straps. They're not trail shoes, but one must still walk in them, and these two flaws combine to make that a painful and even hazardous endeavor.Finally, I'm upset because I can't order other styles or any men's shoes at all with this pattern, and I can't order most women's styles in just plain black without some kind of stripe or other colour involved. This is problematic. As I said in my other review, shoes do not have a gender. I would like to order any shoe in the pattern/colour I like. But especially please make solid black an option in all women's shoes. It's unbelievably sexist not to.

Stepping through water that submerged the sandal my foot stayed secure in place, not slipping or sliding at all. When I had first tried them on, the strap on the inside by my heel rubbed slightly. I did a tiny adjustment to the straps and that quickly went away within a day. I'm so glad that I didn't just box them back up due to that as I would have missed out on my now favorite shoe! I've had them for about a month now and still feel as amazing as they did from day one. They also go with anything I wear from shorts, jeans, sweatpants or dresses but what I love the most is that the straps are made from recycled plastics. An amazing sandal and doing my part for the environment, now that is a product and company that I can happily support! I recently ordered a second pair and can not wait for them to get here. Great product made by an amazing company. I have a feeling this second pair won't be my last that I purchase!
I really wish Teva had 1/2 sizes. The sandal is fairly comfortable, but my toes are right at the front edge of the sandal. I have purchased the next bigger size in Teva previously, but in that pair the sandal sticks out from my toes almost an inch, and I trip over the excess sometimes. The 1/2 size would likely be perfect.The straps are a little itchy, likely due to being made from recycled goods. The ring that holds the toe straps on one sandal tends to dig into my little toe while it is not an issue at all on the opposite sandal. Recently I've done more mellow bird walking around in parks that don't necessarily need hiking shoes but where it's a flat trail. I've only had running shoes which I need to buy again. When I saw these sandals online and a friend recommended them to me, I decided to buy a pair.Best decision ever. I feel comfy wearing them bird walking, to work on my casual Fridays, and just in general. They're my favorite shoe I have now and I love them so much!

I also wore them for a .8 mile dirt/rocky nature trail to some boulders and they felt good and supportive w/decent traction. I didn’t have a problem with sand or pebbles getting stuck into them. Walking around town was such a breeze and just felt right. Also, the moon design is super cute. They’re a little bulkier and a couple ounces more than my old shoes, but for me it is completely worth it. The added comfort and reliability far outweighs (pun not intended) the added weight & dimensions. I am SO happy I made the switch after two decades of try other brands. My travel mate had to listen to me swoon over how comfortable they are throughout the entire trip.
These shoes are cute and great for the beach, and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they don't give blisters which is a huge plus in my book. However, there are so many cons including that the toe box is too long causing me to trip, they're intensely slippery when wet, and most of all, these hurt my feet like no other shoe. My ankles and lower legs hurt so badly after a normal day of wearing these to the point of me becoming grouchy. My lower legs and feet get so sore. Just yesterday, I wore them to the farmers market, a few stores, and walking around my house and I was in so much pain by the end of the day. I wore them on vacation a few times and felt the same way.
I bought these on an awesome sale. I wanted something for next summer that would be up for camping, casual hikes/walks, kayaking….whatever my trips throw at me.I tried them on immediately and fell in LOVE! These are my very first pair of Teva sandals and I’m sold!! I’ll be a loyal customer of this brand. They’re light, incredibly comfy and the traction is really good! Cannot wait to wear them ALL next summer as my go-to sandals!
I am a 7.5 got the 8. Purchased to walk around a Europe trip. Put them on and had to take them off in 30 minutes. The straps chafed both inside and outside of foot. The rear straps are comfortable and the sole. The front chafes the great toe area and pinky toe area. I don't see how one can where these all day. The straps are a rough material. Disappointing the reviews say can wear all day, not true.
