It's uncomfortable on the top of my foot and I bought these to wear for things like beach, pool, water park, kayaking etc. Anyone who's into these things knows something metal is going to superheat out in the sun. You'll have to hide your shoes under a towel so you don't get burnt. Tens please Find a way to remake these thin straps without the metal and please make a thin strap slide version (no irritating thong) and I'll be all in for a pair in every color.

I bought them for my trip to Costa Rica and on day one of the trip while walking to the beach (paved road, not rough terrain) one of the straps broke. Maybe I just had a defective pair but I won’t risk repurchasing the slim version and having it happen again. I emailed customer service and they told me I can return then I get home. Shout out to Nordstrom and their amazing return policy.

I wore the original Teva's years ago, and they were great for camping/hiking etc. These are just as comfortable, and look a bit more civilized to wear for travel, sightseeing, and around town. I was looking for a super comfortable, flat walking sandal in tan and I think these will be perfect for my upcoming trip. I got the Tiger's Eye color, which seems a little lighter than in the photos, but it will be fine. There are generously sized, and the 10 fit my wide feet very well, whereas in some other sandals and dress shoes I need to size up.They also come in some fun colors, I might have to get another pair.

My 15 year old Teva's finally gave up the ghost in Peru. Ordered this pair as a replacement. Loving the slim style and format - fits into my rucksack side pocket even better than previous pair. The skin tone color is perfect for universal use - shorts to dresses. The straps are very well placed - a little different than previous pair but still comfortable without rubbing. My shoe size is 6 or 6.5 (brand dependent) - ordered a 6 and it fits perfectly. I use Teva's for work (aboard Navy and commercial ships) and for leisure (hiking, cruising and city touring).

The straps are slim, but keep the shoe on without digging in, which is a problem I've had with other sandals. There are two Velcro points of adjustment, over the top of the ankle and over the top of the toes, I thought I would miss the back-of-the-heel adjustment, but honestly it fits great! This is a thin, modern take on the classic Teva velcro sandal that is comfortable and functional. The sandal is nice and light, and I like that it's partially made from recycled materials. I liked the narrower straps, and there was nice arch support in the footbed. The shoe as nicely wide through the toes, and with the velcro strap there as well, could be adjusted to a comfortable fit. Might be a touch wide aesthetically for very narrow feet, but I loved the shape. It says it features "Life Natural, a peppermint-based anti odor treatment" - there was no noticeable smell after hours of wearing (and none of that gross new plastic smell initially either), but it's also a very airy shoe. Ran true to size.
Simple sandals are exactly what they promised. They stood up to a spring-hike up river and I stayed in them the whole six miles (even when I assumed I'd need to swap out, since breaking in new shoes takes time!) Decent tread over uneven terrain and many afternoons of easy-going around town. I like their adjustment configuration, which allows some length-wiggle-room, rather than just strapping down the toe-box area.I'm a little worried they might not have a long lifetime; I generally trust Teva's, but the strap connections points seem a little wimpy ... fingers way crossed! They're so light-weight I hope to have them as easy around town and around-camp shoes for many seasons!
I got these in the color Tiger's Eye (a light sandy brown color). It's a lovely neutral color that goes with pretty much anything in my wardrobe. My absolute favorite thing about these sandals are how light weight they are. They barely weigh anything so perfect for traveling. I have used these as "shower shoes" for camping and they are comfortable just walking around the campsite.They have some arch support but I didn't feel the straps were sturdy enough to actually hike in these.I felt these were TTS/ run just a tad large. I normally wear a size 7.5/8 but I ordered the 6 and it was only a teeny bit small.Overall, I'm super happy with these Tevas and would recommend these to anyone looking for a pair of lightweight, versatile sandals.

The strap configuration is adjustable at both the front of your foot and at the ankle so you can dial in the fit as needed (no socks vs socks fit or if you want it looser or tighter) which is invaluable for a sandal. Pros:-Very comfortable-Enough space for my feet to comfortably spread out and still be fully on the sandal.-The traction is good on these. I won’t have to worry about slipping on wet areas.-I have narrow feet and these are comfortable for me.Cons:-If you have skinny ankles/ feet the straps will hang off the sandal.-The bottoms on these sandals are not a heavy rubber (Vibram style bottoms). The sandals may not be the best for uneven terrain.
