My daughter bought this scrub for me as part of a Christmas gift last year and I have been obsessed! It scrubs and smooths your skin but leaves it extremely moisturized, as if you have a body oil on. When I use this product in the shower, I don't have to moisturize afterwards, and my skin is smooth and soft for 24 hours.

If you like a rough scrub.. this is not the one. You can barely feel the scrub part, it feels like youre putting on straight up shea butter. It also leaves residue on your hands, shower, and rag. Wish i didnt buy this because its also more expensive than my favorites.

I bought the body scrub, thinking it was similar to a sugar scrub. I was very wrong. It's more like a very thick body butter with exfoliating beads. The first time I used, it was in the shower. It would not wash off with the body wash, so I tried to towel dry off then my towel was covered in the thick lotion film. I didn't want to dry my face in my hair with the same towel.I then tried to use the product at night after washing my hands. Again, it was so thick the product went under my fingernails, my arm to my wrist and would not come off. It feels sticky but slimy.For what it's worth it smells great

A little goes a long way! The first time I used this, I used way too much and had the same issues other reviewers did with excess shea butter on my skin and towel. However, I learned my lesson. Use a tiny bit and your skin will look and feel great!
The old Bait and Switch. Loved previous product- medium granules, light shea oil base, pleasant fresh scent. Wrongly assumed just packaging update, but product 100% different. Teeny, pasty granules with a WAXY base. One star because my skin is soft the next day, but I've started using a glove so my palms aren't left intolerably waxy! Feels like I should be waxing my skis. Will not buy again.
I got it on a whim right before checking out. I didn't get a chance to smell other scents they were, but I think it is the most delicious shea scent I have ever smelled. Absolutely divine, not overpowering. Mind you, I am very sensitive to smells that are too much. Does not sit on top of your skin as a greasy layer, does not dry out too quickly leaving you dry. So far, I have only used it on my hands, but I am sure it'll work well on any skin area. Overpriced, but worth the splurged.
I cannot get this stuff off! It leaves my hands feeling waxy. I usually use body scrub before shaving my legs and now i cant get this stuff off my razor!! I have to open and close this jar with a towel everytime now because when i use it, my hands are covered in a wax substance so now the outside of the jar is covered in it and i cant wash it off!! This product is terrible especially for the price
I love the body shop so much which is why im sooo dissappointed in this product. Its like rubbing thick lotion with 5% scrub on your body, and it leaves a thick waxy residue on your skin. I scrub before shaving so this is a huge problem. Ill try the other two scrubs from tbs bc i am brand loyal.. but will absolutely not be buying this formula again
I was expecting a body scrub when I purchased it, and was incredibly disappointed. In comparison to the other Body Shop body scrubs, this is not exfoliating at all. The texture is also very off putting - It's basically like slathering your body in wax. It doesn't come off in the shower, but it does leave a horrible white residue on your towels while somehow still staying incredibly waxy and sticky on your skin.
It's literaly thick lotion with scrub in it. Its awful trying to get it off & cakes onto everything. You have to wash it off with soap & hope it doesnt clog your drains. I think ppl are lesving reviews prior to use because I dont understand why this has over a 1 star 🤦🏻♀️
