I really wanted to love this product, but after two hours from the first time I tried my skin was red and I noticed some pimples that I didn't have before. Be careful if you have sensitive skin.I didn't like the smell either and it is really thick.

I am super confused about the bad reviews on here, not sure why people are rating it low. I have sensitive dry skin with dark spots mostly on my chin area. The smell is a little chemical like but it smells mostly like oranges to me. But anyways, I love the glow it has given me and in a weeks use I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin! My skin has been dull recently and this has really helped. Remember when you use vitamin c you're supposed to use SPF!!! Or it may darken your face. Wasn't expecting much from this product but I say it definitely gives you a glow :)

I've had my bottle 2.5 months and the Serum is still as clear as water.This is my first Body Shop active skincare product and I'm so impressed. I hope they never stop making it! I plan to get the Vit C moisturizer next.

I got a sample of this from the Body Shop website. Theres not enough in the sample for me to discuss long-term benefits so im only writing about the application and my immediate reaction.For the pros, i do really like the texture of this serum, its very smooth and applies like silicone-based products. For the cons, its smells AWFUL. I don't know if my sample was just off (based on the fact that no one else in review space has mentioned this) but it smelled like acetone the second i opened the package. It did go away after a bit, but that first whiff was UNPLEASANT.
I love this serum, it is lightweight and absorbs easily and seems to do what a Vit C should do. HOWEVER, the fragrance is like a men's cologne and it is very off putting. I will use it on my body but I would not repurchase.
This amazing serum is now in my daily skin regimen. It's lightened my dark spots on my chin and made my dull skin glow. I use it after my moisturizer, and it keeps me moisturized all day. Remember to use SPF with vitamin c. I didn't expect much from this product as I was randomly shopping at ulta. But I ended up loving it!!! I didn't experience any burning and I have sensitive skin.
All i could smell when i opened it was alcohol. It was awful. Very watery too. Took it back the very next day. Entirely different brand. Do not recommend
This serum gave me retinol burn! Made my skin extremely red with inflammation, burning and itching sensation, break out into hundreds of white heads and made my skin peel. The ingredient Bakuchiol is in the retinol family so buyers beware.
I bought this for my mom a couple days ago. A few hours after she tried it on, her eyes were swelling, red, itching and her neck area was full of white bumps and redness. After 2 days her condition worsened so bad that we had to go to the ER. She now has to continue meds and antihistamines for a week to clear her reaction. She's not allergy prone and never had this before!! Discontinue this serum!!
I used this for a couple of days and it caused a severe reaction- rash, itching and burning. To the point where I needed steroid scrip. Beware!
