The Chase Board Game

In this family board game, players must stay one step ahead of the Chaser, ruthless and brilliant quiz geniuses determined to stop you winning?.at all costs. Begin by starting the electronic timer and answering a minute's worth of quick fire questions to build up to 50,000 in the Cash Builder round. Now it's time for each contentant to face and go head to head with one of the four Chasers. Will you compete against The Beast, The Destroyer, The Governess or The Sinnerman? If players answer question correctly they can move one step away towards safety, but a Chaser answering correctly moves one step closer to catching you. If the Chasers catches the contestant, they lose their chase. The player who successfully evades capture with the most amount of money makes it through to the Final Chase, but only if they can escape The Chaser's relentless advance.

Absolutely awful game, the game designers would have been better to have made a dvd of the chasers answering the questions and giving the cash offers. Instead, one of your team has to be the chaser which is silly. The whole thing is cheaply made with flimsy cardboard along with a tacky plastic timer with beeping noises. Even that could have had a music sample from the show to give it a more realistic effect. Sadly this game will be in the cupboard more often than not. Do not waste your money on this rubbish.

The most fun I've had for 20 in a long time. A banger of a board game. Reminds of me of the show that I love so dearly, can't wait for Bradley Walsh to be the new assistant in Doctor Who. The experience as a whole, having had time to reflect, has brought us all together and has made our friendship into a family. Xoxox

This has nothing to do with Debenhams but this game was terrible! We love the chase as a family so very disappointed when we played it! Quite hard to follow and really not like the tv show, especially when u get to the final chase. It was honestly a waste of money and ruined our game fun during Xmas day. As I said, nothing to do with Debenhams but I don’t think this is a good product for you to put your name to.

Good fun playing it but timer, questions hard read
21 December 2020

I had this game about 1 month ago and on the first try the questions were too small to read-only on the 23rd try I got hang of reading the questions. The timer broke on the first few tries while I was playing and while I was in the middle of the game. Also with the Chasers, the Chaser paper thingies were easy to bend so be careful!

Illegible

I bought this game as a gift. Tried to play it on Christmas Day with my nieces and nephews. The questions are almost impossible to read. Print is much too small. We all thought the same. This really takes away from the enjoyment of the game.

Looks like a good family game.

Very disappointed . No cellophane covering on box . All contents had been removed from their plastic bags . Electronic timer not working . This game has obviously been used !.Extremely annoying for my son when he opened the box to play on Christmas Day . Will return game to store when I can be bothered to visit shops again ! Will stick to Argos for board games in future .

Not suitable for 8yr olds
27 December 2020

I bought this for my 12yr daughter. The questions are not one bit suited for kids. Difficult for adults never mind 8yr olds. The questions are also way too small, making them difficult to read. We played it as a family twice but none of us enjoyed it

Take Note..UK edition
21 April 2021

We got ours excited to crack open play.. Only to discover the buzzer broken and all questions are UK focused as opposed to general knowledge. Game play was slow.. Let's just it will have to a very rainy day before this is played again...

The CHASE for the family.
17 May 2023

I like watching the CHASE quiz show on television and when I saw the CHASE board game, I had to buy it to play with the family which we had great fun playing together.

Very like the programme
5 January 2017

I bought this for the family to play at Christmas as we love the TV programme. We had great fun and once we figured out the rules we got into the swing of it however the questions might be a little hard for all the family to play. Even the adults were struggling at times. The set up is very like the programme though.
