The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Set 60 years before The Lord of the Rings, the adventure follows our hero Bilbo Baggins, the eponymous Hobbit, who is reluctantly swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome Dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the Wizard Gandalf, Bilbo finds himself press ganged into the company of thirteen Dwarves led by the legendary warrior Thorin Oakenshield and on a journey into the wild. Together they must traverse troll infested forests and goblin lairs, hunted by a merciless white Orc and haunted by a mysterious and sinister figure known only as The Necromancer. The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, on an epic quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain and the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. Having survived the beginning of their unexpected journey, the Company travels East, encountering forest of Mirkwood. After escaping capture by the dangerous Wood-elves, the Dwarves journey to Lake-town, and finally to the Lonely Mountain itself, where they must face the greatest danger of all - a creature more terrifying than any other: one which will test not only the depth of their courage but the limits of their friendship and the wisdom of the journey itself - The Dragon Smaug. The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and the Company of Dwarves. The Dwarves of Erebor have reclaimed the vast wealth of their homeland, but now must face the consequences of having unleashed the terrifying Dragon, Smaug, upon the defenseless men, women and children of Lake-town. As he succumbs to dragon-sickness, the King Under the Mountain, Thorin Oakenshield, sacrifices friendship and honor in his search for the legendary Arkenstone. Unable to help Thorin see reason, Bilbo is driven to make a desperate and dangerous choice, not knowing that even greater perils lie ahead. An ancient enemy has returned to Middle-earth. Sauron, the Dark Lord, has sent forth legions of Orcs in a stealth attack upon the Lonely Mountain. As darkness converges on their escalating conflict, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide—unite or be destroyed. Bilbo finds himself fighting for his life and the lives of his friends as five great armies go to war.

An extremely good trilogy. I liked it better than Lord of the Rings. I loved the storyline, acting, music and graphics and found them to be brilliantly done. Edge of the seat entertainment that was dramatic with hints of subtle humour which added to the entertainment.

All J.R.R. Tolkien's stories are outrageously poignant and inspiring and Peter Jackson production is worth seeing. Absolutely beautiful experience in every way.
Loved seeing Middle Earth. Loved the books but as a visual person this was more enjoyable & it did live up to my expectations
The kids have always like The Hobbit. Now my youngest can enjoy the three Hobbit films.
we love this movie. The Hobbit is a wonderful story and beautifully filmed and told. Pair this with The Lord of the Rings and its a wonderful experience you will never forget!
Worth watching particularly if you watch the lord of the rings series too as it really give you more insight into the who story and the characters
This, along with Lord of the Rings is my all-time favourite story.
Came on time great price thanks heaps
