I drink a lot of carbonated beverages, so when I saw Breville was releasing an upscale seltzer maker I was really excited. The green hue is really great. That’s where my excitement ends. Several things are holding this product back:1) It only accepts a proprietary one-liter bottle. That would be fine if Williams and Sonoma or Breville sold additional bottles, but as of this writing you would have to import them from Australia.2) My unit overflows, often. The special cap that comes with it is supposed to prevent this. However, I’ve found that even if I meticulously make sure the water is at the right temperature and level in the bottle, it often overflows after 7-8 pimple. No big deal if it was clearly labeled, but when I purchased my unit the model number in the details section indicated it had CO2 included. On the occasions you avoid an overflow and only need one bottle of sparkling water at a time, this is great. It’s the best looking and best feeling unit I’ve ever used. But the flaws are tough and feel like dealbreakers. If you’re desperate not to use Sodastream because of how flimsy they feel, maybe give this a try. However, I’ve found it to be a big investment for a subpar experience.

This was a nice surprised from Breville, as most of my small appliances are Breville, looking forward to one day to only own Breville. Now they need a good juicer to compete with Nama J2 or Kuvings Auto 10. Anyways, back to InFizz Fusion review. To start it looks really nice, and idea of being able to fizz nearly anything is awesome. Loved the packaging being very simple to remove the product but yet secure, so kudos for that.Built quality seems okay, brushed metal looks good; however, it feels like metal used is very thin and whole unit is actually surprisingly lightweight given the looks you would expect to be much heavier. Beight light is both pro and con, my main problem is not enough weight in the base many times caused the unit to tilt trying to get bottle in and locked. My other concern is how the cap is designed. You could say there are inner and outer portion of the cap with some space in between for gas to release. Concern here is cleaning that space or this space with time potentially getting clogged up if fizzing juices that has pulp. Now the actual experience with the unit. Unfortunately, many of my attempts to fizz from water to juices to cocktails led to a mess that I did not enjoy cleaning it. My very first attempt was just a water, and I think I had bottle filled just below minimum line which resulted in blow out on the first press, so yeah, this cap itself does not prevent “leaks”. Let’s call that a user error. However, fizzing non water most of the time it creates “foam” and let say extra pressure inside the bottles that even if you pumped just a few times you have to be very careful releasing that red valve and still liquid tends to run through the cap. What most annoying part was bottle and cap uses twist rather than screw on design, so what tends to happen a lot, is when you trying to remove the bottle after fizzing, more often than not, you would end up untwisting the bottle leaving cap attached in the machine, causing a mess everywhere if it’s not water. Really annoying clean up sugary content from the kitchen. Basically, I found that you have to be very cautious to hold with both hands cap and the bottle, try to twist the cap and hold the bottle to make sure that bottle itself stays with the cap. Adding interesting note to the bottle, they have expiration date, about 3 years, I don’t think I have seen that before. There is also rather a learning curve to be able to align and twist the cap to the machine when you want to fizz, I was never able to get with just one hand let alone in one motion.Last note, I am guessing this something from manufacturing and bottle being shipped with cap attached, when I first opened the bottle, I was greeted with a strong vert unpleasant smell that reminded a can of old sardines smell.Ultimately, I am not sure if I got bad cap or something, but my experience was very different from all those 5-star reviews and not something I could recommend to others.

But these things are all hit-or-miss, and most often, miss! Just now I tried to get a fresh soda water going with plain water and the result was completely flat. I would say the average now is 1 out of 10 successes. What an awful score! I really expected better from Breville.

I was given the opportunity to try this product for an honest review via Influenster having never used a product similar to this I wasn’t sure what to expect however I was nut disappointed. The box contains the infizz fusion, fusion cap, 1 litre bottle, sieve, bottle brush and fusion cap brush also comes with clear instruction manual. I also received a co2 canister. The infizz fusion is really easy to use and I liked that you get to control the pressure for how much co2 you release giving you the perfect amount of fizz you can find lots of recipe ideas online and videos of how to make them if needed you can also buy spare bottles. Once the drinks are made you can store them in the fridge for few days in the bottle and it will remain fizzy. Really easy to clean with brush provided hand wash only not dish washer safe. Looks great elegant and stylish, compact so doesn’t take it too much room. Over all I loved the infizz fusion one of them items I never knew I needed until I got one
This device is absolutely magical. Not only can you make water based products fizzy but also non water based! I tried it out using some fresh orange juice as seen in my video and it works perfectly it tastes just.like bucks fizz just minus the alcohol. Instructions however are a bit lacking they just contain pictures so its a bit hard to decipher after a few attempts i managed to get there. In terms of longativity of the fizz its lacking massively. I made the fizzy orange juice in the video around 9pm and the next morning aeound 7am its lost its fizzy, it still tastes fizzy but just missing the bubbles. The device itself is massive and will take up quite a bit of space in your kitchen but it does look very swanky. The downfall of this equipment is that it isnt dishwasher safe so handwashing all around. You also only get one bottle to put your products in to fizz which is a bit irritating being restricted to one fizzy drink at the time. The refillls of co2 are also expensive so it is an expensive hobby to have sadly. But overall opinion? Fantastic bit of kit i will more then likely invest in another bottle to fizz up multiple drinks at once.

The device is made to a great standard which is expected from a reputable company such as Sage. It is noticeably very presentable, and comes in a variety of colours to match any kitchen. I picked navy blue because it is such a calming and confident colour. Because it is a mechanical device, and I don’t need either batteries or electricity for it to carbonate my water. InFizz is easy to move outdoor for a picnic in the garden, when the weather is right. Or, to where your children’s party is taking place, or to the home bar so you can make mocktails for your guests. There are so many options of drinks with sparkling water! Some of the options I’ve tried are carbonated apple juice as well as flavoured teas.InFizz Fusion is easy to assemble. It comes as a device itself, one BPA free bottle with fusion cap, a cap to store the bottle in the fridge, 1 cleaning brush, two sieves and instruction manual. The device is ready to use within a minute. First, insert a CO2 gas cylinder, then fill the included BPA free bottle with water or juice, and after closing the infusion cap and placing the bottle in position, with just one touch of a button you get yourself some fresh sparkling drink. Fizz can be used right away or stored in the fridge and recarbonated when it goes flat.Summing up, clearly, the advantages of InFizz are presentability, fun, and cost efficiency of homemade soda. A cleaning brush with two sieves is a useful addition. The device occupies very little space on the kitchen counter, and it’s very easy to assemble and use. It does not make mess, and it is fast and quiet. The bottle is marked with min and max indicators so not to overflow. The bottle is easy to clean, and there are clear instructions provided in the leaflet that’s found in the box the product gets delivered in. The provided cleaning brush was designed specifically for the hight and the width of the bottle. The bottle is generous size, 1 liter, so I can make a few good cups or glasses of drinks at a time. The disadvantage is that there is not enough information on the product website about the product itself. Particularly, the first question a person who has never used a soda maker before, would be about the cylinder, which one to get? Unfortunately, at the time of this review the website doesn’t mention CO2 cylinder in the product description, nor in the section of additional purchases. However, InFizz is compliant with generic 60L Co2 gas cylinder, which lasts long enough to make 60 liters of soda, or a liter a day for two months. The cheapest single cylinder I could find costs GBP25 but the more cylinders you buy, the cheaper they cost you, at least twice cheaper. Gas cylinders are easy to source, both online and offline. I found some places accepting empty cylinders and they reduce you the price of the next cylinder by a fiver. I certainly salute the idea!I won’t be buying any fizzy drinks anymore, now that I can make my own. I believe that returnable cylinders could be a great opportunity to teach my son to develop a habit of responsible use of resources. I wholeheartedly recommend Sage InFizz carbonating machine.
Not only does the infizz fusion look ultra stylish and pricey, but you can also feel the quality in this product. After taking it from the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find a cleaning brush inside. Quickly getting to work in cleaning the bottle that's included, the lid and the cap which I must add was extremely fast with the brush included I was even more surprised to find a little brush within the handle with I thought was a fantastic design to keep the brushes together. Putting the canister in was extremely easy. Pop it in in the bottom and twist until it locks in. To try this, I used orange squash, and honestly, I found it really refreshing. It reminded me of those orange and sparkling waters you'd get down your local (pub). Overall, I do recommend the infizz fusion. Having used it, I can not find any faults with it. It's easy to put together, and by pressing the silver leaver on top, you can determine how much co2 you want to add to make it more fizzy
Just unboxing this product I knew it was going to be made from quality material. The packaging was well thought out and definitely built to last. Quality is top notch! the stainless has a really nice look and feel, solidly built and stable. I was really hoping to have glass bottles as we feel the carbonation seems to be more satisfying drinking out of glass. The supplied plastic bottles seem to be of good quality and thickness with very nice chrome top and base that screws on to the bottom of the bottle. We were introduced to the "SODA STREAM" carbonator and felt the water was really carbonated and satisfying but wanted a higher quality system, so we opted for the Breville Infizz Fusion so we can carbonate much more than water. After having it for about a month we fell the Infizz Fusion is not as carbonated as Soda Stream but couldn't tell you why. After having it for about a month we fell the Infizz Fusion is not as carbonated as Soda Stream but couldn't tell you why. Possibly the Breville Aqua version is more carbonated than this Infizz Fusion version.we having been pumping approximately 6 pumps of Co2 into the smaller bottle for comparison carbonation and 7+ pumps on the larger 1ltr bottles. We put the bottles in the fridge to cool to 40 but seems to lose some carbonation by the next morning.we also just changed the C02 bottle so it lasted approximately 3 weeks for 2 people, I heard other brand carbonator machine C02 lasting much longer but hard to compare without knowing the usage.we still like having our own carbonator, It would be nice to have Breville either come out with their own flavoring or at lease give some direction on what and how much flavoring to add to the system.Hard to recommend if this is a good buy or not, we were very excited thought it would be amazing to carbonate some drinks like a Cosmopolitan or Appletini but seems like Alcohol may not retain the C02 or any carbonation. Even the small .06 ptr bottles are too large to try to carbonate the drink mix to see if that is a better way but much testing still needed but so far its decent for water, not great but decent. After pumping 6 full pumps of Co2 into the small .06 ltr bottles, it still doesn't look as carbonated as the pictures Breville shows online.maybe smaller bottles are needed to experiment a bit more for the additives.
