Once again, this is another good little rascals movie that had a good plot and is family friendly. I seemed to like the characters from the previous little rascals movie better.
This family comedy is great because it manages to get the job done with out so much violence and profanity. The blu ray has great picture and sound. I would recommend this to any family looking for some good clean fun.
I purchased this for testing purposes at work. I do A/V installations in the commercial sector. I always need a bluray to test with and this was a bonus because it came with the dvd as well. The price on this set in my opinion was excellent.
The anachronisms are almost too much to handle. In the same scene an ice cream man delivers a treat to school, a kid dances to music from his iPod. In another scene, we see an old time theatre, soda jerk shop, and bakery, but then a hummer pulls up. I get they wanted to show the new and the old, but it wasn't the same ol' Rascals. However it's still a funny movie.
My kids love the Little Rascals, but prefer the original. This one is funny enough and not all the original cast members from the first part are in this movie. Overall, it is still a fun movie.
I was very let down by this movie. The old spanky shows were funny, this tried to be, but wasn't. One of the very few movies we couldn't watch to the end. Not sure it would go over with kids that well either. Certainly better choices to get.
