I really enjoyed this book, when I was younger it was really funny. This little girl has a magic finger and when she points it at people bad things happen to them. It just so happens that the girl (who hates it when people hunt and kill animals) lives next door to some people who love hunting. She doesn't really get to choose the consequences of her actions but they are really interesting. Teaches young people about how you can't always chose the consequences of your actions - very interesting.

My daughter had fun and enjoyed with it. It learn Children how much the life of Animals are valuable with nice and smart mathod.
This is my favourite Roald Dahl book. I've read it to 2 different classes at work, all the children were totally gripped by the story..
I read these years ago when i was young and enjoyed them so wanting to purchase a set to read to my daughter as she gets older. Great price for the full set of these books. Arrived in good time also.
I bought this for my sons birthday having had it myself as a child. He absolutely loved it and read it on one sitting! Its quite an easy read so good for all abilities and also would be a good book for a parent to read to a younger child too.
If you want a book that will capture your little ones attention but that isn't too long,then this olis a great starting point. Great fun story with funny illustrations.

A lesser known Roald Dahl story about a girl with a magic finger who gets revenge on the people who irritate. It is amusing, however, there are many other Roald Dahl books that stand out from this one such as the delightful story of Matilda.
