Still trying to get fully into it. Sometimes I will eat something else instead of the second shake, with the intention of having a shake as a dinner replacement. It doesn't always happen that way though, particularly if the wife is cooking dinner. Sometimes I will substitute one of my self made protein shakes but the problem is that it's at least twice the volume of a normal man shake. I need to lose the weight so I'll keep trying to get it right. I do snack too much still. That's probably my biggest failing.

At 115kg with severe arthritis, injuries from the past catching up on me, the excess weight putting a lot of pressure on my lower back, hips and knees. Everyday pain was sky high. I am 68 years old and except for a few times when I was super fit I have been trying to lose weight all my life. MAN SHAKES the product and the hints information have given me lasting results. I shed 10 Kg in 8 weeks. I am still able to have the odd 'bad' meal or a few Jack Daniels but the weight kept coming off and staying off. I just had an overseas holiday including a cruise where I would usually pile on an extra 10 kilos on top of being overweight. 8 weeks away and I and I only put on 2 Kg. I am happier more energetic and although mindful of being careful with the shakes and being healthier means I am continuing to lose another 10 Kg. Thanks for everything.

Just do it now, seriously! 15 years ago I went to US and gain lots of way. At some stage I got recommended by a friend at my MMA-gym to do a so-call Velocity diet (eating only protein shakes, etc...), it works so well and I was in the best shape of my life, with lean and well-defined muscles. Super easy to order and very decent price (still, count 2 weeks delivery for WA). It comes with good advises on the website and newsletter, access to the awesome man-challenge and Adam is simply an awesome (virtual) coach. I've been using it for few months (~4 packs per months, 2 shakes a day) and, combined with a descent amount of exercises, the man bars and balanced evening diet, I already beat my old look of 15 years ago! Let me tell you that it is 8.15 am and I am still not feeling great! Having been in the Pharmaceutical industry for 35+ years my first instinct was to make an official side effects report to the Director of my local Public Health unit. Great deal! Definitely worth its money. This order i got Coffee- Been my go to since i started the manshake. Tastes like real coffee and is always a good start to the day. Cookies n cream - got this last order, great little cookie flakes and was the best one i tried until... Choc honey comb- Definitely the best one! At first i was nervous as i did not like the chocolate one but this certainly defeated mt expectations. Still has some issues fully mixing but flavour is spot on! Vanilla- was cautious about this, I've heard bad reviews that it didn't taste good. I was wrong! Its a Vanilla delight. Not to over powering of flavour but not weak at all.
Overall I think it's good value & the flavours are great. I've found vanilla doesn't mix as well as some of the other flavours & can tend to get a bit clumpy. Tends to be filling enough but i do still get a bit hungry. After using the product for about 6 weeks (once a day at lunchtime) my weight has only dropped a couple of kilos. That doesn't sound great but it has been the Christmas/NY period where I've tended to put on weight in the past so I'll take that as a win at this stage. I'll keep using it into the new year & hopefully see some better results. So far I've found all the chocolate flavours the best. Overall I would recommend this product.
Whatever you do, don't get the Banana. It tastes like those fake (sugar) banana lollies and keeps coming all day. Everything else seems all right. I have lost 8 kilos since starting and have reduced my beer intake and started going to the gym as well as reducing my portion sizes, which was difficult at the start but now I find I can't eat the amounts I was before starting on the shakes. It is also an annoyance that I can't get a mango flavour instead of the crappy banana. Also, the questions below don't give enough detail to accurately answer ( like, "How was the flavour?" Firstly, so much powder flies up in the air every time I open the bag - half the kitchen was covered in dust. I must be breathing all that in too! Never known a powder to be so light & fly all over the place. The first taste - so chemically. The artificial sweetener is awful & doesn't taste "full-bodied". And it leaves the most horrid aftertaste. The shakes are also soooooo thick, it is like drinking really thick custard or gravy. Everybody loves a thick milkshake....but this is way too thick. I might go back to Herbalife products. They are expensive, but they taste amazing & they work! I'd rather support an Aussie company too....but I'm not a fan of The Man Shake. And as much as I love to reduce impact on the environment, I dislike the soft plastic packets of powder. I prefer a hard plastic powder bottle - even if they cost a tad more. I would be happy to get REFILLS in soft plastic (for a lower price)....although soft plastics CANNOT be recycled right now. I assume hard plastic bottles would be recycled. Protein bars come recommended. The Man Shake does not!
