I really wanted to keep this jacket. I have the Denali jacket and was hoping this would fit similar for length in sleeve and body. Unfortunately for me the sleeves were short and so was the length of the torso. I’m 6’4” so length of clothes is always an issue. Other than that it was a great design and would have been very comfy and warm. I was sad I had to send it back. It wasn’t as stiff as the Denali jacket I have either which was nice.

The jacket has a great fit and deep zippered pockets. I would recommend the the pocket zippers be deeper into the hem so when your hands are in there it's more comfortable. The warmth provided is what you'd expect from this weight jacket with good wind breaker qualities. It's roomy enough for layering in colder weather.

This jacket is light, warm, and stylish. But there is one issue. The zippers under arms for ventilation keep scratching my arms when I wear a short sleeve shirt under. I have 2 more Denali Jackets, regular Denali Jacket and Retro Denali Jacket, and these jackets have layers inside to cover the zipper parts so no issue here but only this Denali Jacket has no layer over the zippers and it causes skin irritation.

I use this heavy fleece with my TNF TriClimate GoreTex shell in place of the 550 down jacket it came with in cold wet weather. Ridiculously warm, wind and resistant combo. I specifically chose this version of the Denali because it has pit zips for dumping heat just like the shell. Great long term investment!!! Could not be happier.
I think this is a pretty nice jacket. IMO, it's not nearly as nice as any of their original Denali's were, but it's much closer than anything that I've been able to find from North Face, over the past several years.Endlessly seeking the original model, I've "tried" several other North Face Denali's over the last several years and this one tops that list. In fact until this, I couldn't even wear any of those previous models.I do still have (and occasionally wear) a couple of my original Denali's but they're so worn out now that my daughter won't even "be seen with me" in any of them. Not sure what happened to the original model/material of Denali (probably made 3rd world) but they are IMO, what put North Face "on the map!"I would buy this product again (and ... MoreI think this is a pretty nice jacket. Very warm fleece zip. Harbor Blue is beautiful and looks even nicer in person. You can feel the underarm zippers on your arms when wearing a short sleeve shirt underneath so I try to wear long sleeves with it.. I ordered a Large for a looser fit (5'11", ~160) and it fits as expected. If you're on the fence, I def recommend it..
I bought this jacket for my dad. He loves Northface fleeces jackets. The location of the pockets is beyond perfect. He loves the pocket on his chest for his cell phone. The jacket is perfect for keeping your core warm. If it's really freezing out, he will wear it under his winter coat. The jacket is very versatile and stylish.
A bright, retro style fleece jacket that is sure to get compliments. I personally think it's a bit pricey for what it is, but it's undeniably nice. Some things to note:1. It has pit zips - they're awesome. What other fleece jacket has pit zips? Probably none. But, it also means your bare triceps might touch metal zippers once in awhile which isn't the very pleasant.2. Fit: It's a tad oversized. I'm 5'6 and a small fits slightly oversized. This adds to the "retro" vibe though and I personally like the fit.3. There's cinches at the waist, which is a nice touch!
I bought my Denali in the 1990s and I still wear all of time in the winter. A bit expensive but a great value. This jacket is remarkably durable. It is very warm relative to its weight. I hardly wear a heavier jacket in the winter, The pocket design is perfect especially for a large cell phone.
This is hands down the worst North Face I own. Cheap materials, not very warm. I've had this fleece for about a month or two, and the elbows are already wearing out of the jacket. I expect holes to appear in the elbow area within a few more months. Massive waste of money. Cheaper materials, same outrageous price.
