This product is great , neatly fitted and also lightweight but definitely keeps my son warm . It being reversible is so unique but I honestly don't like the dull black /dark grey color
My son loves this jacket. He says it warm and likes that he can reverse it to another color. It's true to size.
I bought this coat for my 11 year old grandson maybe a month ago. I washed it for him this weekend and when I pulled it out of the washer my heart sunk. It was over $130 and all the batting, filler, or whatever you want to call it wadded up in balls all inside the coat. The coat also now felt like a spring wind breaker. I am so mad. ThatIs a lot of money for a child's coat to wash it one time on gentle cold and to pull it out to hang it up to dry and it not be useable is ridiculous. I thought it was a good brand coat. I had to rush to go buy him another winter coat so he had something to wear. I would not recommend this coat at all. Terrible. And would we looked in how to return it the North Face site said it could not be worn or washed. We have a useless coat.
As always, great product and I believe reasonable price for North Face and overall quality. My son is 11 and I could possibly buy a small men's but I thought this jacket is a great jacket. My son is very forgetful and I was concerned about him potentially leaving the nupteste jacket. This jacket has the warmth but without price tag.
Purchased this jacket for my son. He absolutely loves it. It is like he has 2 jackets because it is reversible. The jacket arrived quickly after ordering. The only thing he doesn't like is that the pockets are only on the black side.
This jacket is definitely NOT true to size. My son is 14 ys old, 5'1" and 98 lbs. I bought him the 14/16 size jacket and it was too small. It looked similar as to how it looks on the kid model in the picture from the website. I personally feel it looks ill fitted and too small on the kid model. I returned it bought the size 18/20 instead and it fits perfectly. The material is nice enough but not particularly warm. Also, the purple/blue side seemed to show everything- after 1 day of use it had marks all over it.#sweepstakes
Still early in the season but my son has worn this a few times and he says his friends are jealous. It’s not easy to get a teenager to wear a coat these days but he says he’s staying warm while his friends are shivering!
Even though it is marketed as reversible, the reverse side of this coat has no pockets and cannot be worn in the winter when you need pockets to store gloves.
