I really like this jacket and you can tell that it's authentic North Face clothing. I think it's a good three season jacket maybe even into mild winter conditions. In the wind and cold weather you would probably want a puffer.

My husband loved this vest until the pocket zipper stuck closed with his wallet inside, 40 miles from home. Nobody could open it. Had to slit the lining to get the wallet out. About an hour later, the main zipper did the same thing, while completely zipped! He had to rip it apart and break the zipper to get out of the vest! Returning it (many thanks to great REI customer service). But liked it enough to order a replacement and try again... hoping a known zipper failure issue isn't why it was discontinued.

Excellent vest, simply the best for all things and everything, everyday. Layers under neath if it is cooler out or just a T-shirt underneath if it is warmer out but still S slight chill in the air. Great for walking and hiking and the perfect size to keep handy in your back pack.

The lined fleece collar is much appreciated by older guys like me 2. Four zip pockets. I never have enough on vests. 3. Really good fit for me. I’m 6’1” and 160lbs, and the large, over the medium, was a good choice. 4. Look, it really looks good, and the almond butter color I received, looks far better than the photo on-line. 5. Zippers are smooth. Finally, my previous vests have been a little light for my warmth, and this vest ... Perfect size, I am181cm and 79 kg and size M is spot on! Not too tight and not too baggy. Warm and a windresistant in the most important parts: chest and neck.
This was a X-Mas present for my husband. I was very happy it arrived within 3 business days before X-Mas. My husband is very pleased with the vest. He especially likes that it has plenty of pockets.
If you like wearing a potato sack then you'll love this vest! I bought a size small which could easily be mistaken for a medium or even a large. I intended this vest to be an under-layer for hiking but with so much airspace I think the designers were aiming more for fashion over function.
Looks just as good for a mountain walk up Snowdon as it does over a shirt in a cool breeze. So versatile, warm and is always well received. I'll be returning for another very soon I'm sure.
Bought this as in the sale, no way I’d pay full price for it!The gilet is super cosy without bulking you up 😂4 zipped pockets is brilliant 👍As previous people have stated the zip occasionally gets a bit tough on the collar area but I can persevere with it.
