It also clearly says it’s cropped fleece, so just buy what you normally would as if you were buying a cropped jumper. I’m a size 8 on top but have a bigger chest than average so I sized up to the medium which looks fine ( I also bought it in another colour in a larger size and that’s great too as it was meant to be a cropped jumper) and good for layering up with a top underneath.The only thing I would say is the front does seem to be slightly shorter than the back but it’s all part of the cropped look so I’m not bothered.

I bought this sweatshirt last summer for a casual wear on a trip to Europe. I didn’t pay a lot, between the sales price and the reward points from the previous purchase, so I thought I got a great deal. Unfortunately, the fabric has barely any stretch, which causes a tight and restraining feeling under the arms. I sized up to medium to have some extra room and still the sweater was uncomfortable to wear. I’m usually small, so definitely it wasn’t a problem of sizing. I liked the gray color and a flattering cut. I won’t wear it, though. Maybe one of my friends will like it.

Bought a size 12 black 0 - accurate sizing, cosy without being too warm (it's for before and after gym so I'm often chilly before) and it works perfectly. Looks quite neat without necessarily looking as if it needs to be worn to exercise, so I don't. Nice fleecey inside. Very pleased.

Very comfortable, warm and stylish. My only complaint is the colour. I ordered the Deep Garnet Heather. The colour is nothing like it shows on the website. On the website, the colour is a very light maroon with a dark red zipper and north face logo. The jacket I ordered is all dark red, basically the same colour as the zipper in the photo. I still like the colour, but the image is extremely misleading. The colour in the photo is so different that it couldn't possibly be an issue with my computer/phone screen. I am a bit disappointed because I was expecting something different from what I got, but still a very nice jacket.
The sizing was not true. The large size was more a medium and the sleeve cuffs have tight elastic bands which leave welt marks on my wrist. I have slim forearms so it's not because I have excess flesh. That said the garment is extremely warm and otherwise cosy. It's also quite a slim fit, so not a good look if you wear it over belted jeans as the belt buckle protrudes. A disappointment for a fleece which otherwise has a good reputation.
Really pleased with this item. Bought lots of other cheaper fleeces but none of them were what I wanted. This was perfect. Yes, it’s expensive but it was just what I needed. It’s warm, elastic around the cuffs keeps the warmth in on the arms, and it’s thin enough to be able to wear a coat over the top and not feel like a snowman! I’m usually a size 10, and I bought a medium. It’s fairly fitted with a little bit of loose round the middle. If you want the oversized look I’d go bigger again.
Top looks lovely - although I used the fit finder, it is still too small for me - fit finder said M, ordered M and too neat / fitted. I did even select I was looking for a slightly baggier feel, so hard to know if the fit finder had already gone a size up, due to other feedback it was on the smaller side, or whether I needed to go a size up from what they said. Returning, and will try a L.
I bought this top to have a fleece that was good on days that I wanted cozy without looking swamped by a traditional top. I’m 1m 70cm tall and it fitted just on my waistband of my joggers and jeans. It’s long enough in the arms for us tall girls and was roomy enough in the body for a vest top underneath.
I don't know who created the sizing for this but what a way to give people a complex! I'd read the reviews before I purchased and went 2 sizes up (usually I'm a size 12 so I went for the size 16-18) and it was skin tight on me! Never seen anything like it in my life. The model is definitely 100% not wearing a small so please do bear that in mind when you purchase. This isn't in any way a relaxed fit, it's super tight with no 'bagginess' as shown in the picture which is hopelessly misleading. To top it off, the material was so thin, which, for the price was so underwhelming.
I had originally ordered this item in a medium which is 8-10, I’m 5’6 and a size 10.When I tried it on it was too small and tight. I wouldn’t have been able to comfortably wear a t-shirt underneath.Ordered a large which I think is 16-18 and was much happier as I like fleeces to be a little baggier.While the material does feel thin it still feels of good quality and did actually keep me warm.Despite this I’m not sure I would have paid full price for it (got it in the sale) but still a good product, just size up if you’re going to buy it!
