This jacket is my go to for 3am dog walks when it's windy & freezing. I love it because I can throw this on over a t shirt when I used to have to put on multiple layers, & would still sacrifice some warmth. I practically live in my NF Borod hoodie from years ago & this is the perfect companion.The length was the other main selling point for me; It hits right at the belt with a slight adjustment of the adjustable cords. The hood is designed in a way that even in the wind it doesn't blow off your head as other jackets I've had tended to do. You can't go wrong with this jacket & the blue color goes with everything!

Great fitting. Very warm and comfortable. Will survive the windy chicago winter. The bands on the arm offer great protection from wind. Fitting good to wear it as is or with a hoodie inside. The falcon brown color looks great and can go on almost any pants. Would recommend the green as a close second.

Good jacket for the winter months and fits well overall - no complaints there. However, the zippers were not manufactured well and often got stuck. Eventually, the left zipper broke. I took the jacket to the nearest TNF store to see if I could send it back for repair. At that time, I also had two very small holes on the jacket which led to some of the down material leaking out. For the price my wife paid and the fact that TNF is a supposedly reputable brand, I expected that they would repair the defects and send it back to me (considering I'd have to wait upto 2 months). I received a notification within a week or so stating that they would not repair anything. I only had the jacket for a few months so I really thought they would honor the warranty. Highly ... I love the color. It pops in the right way. I was skeptical at first about how warm it would keep me because it's so light. When I started to take it out in weather ranging from 50 degrees down to 15 I was amazed at how warm it was keeping me. The hood was secure on my head and did not disrupt my vision. I also bought another north face that has a higher warmth rating but I haven't needed to bring it out yet. It might take some negative temperatures for me to bring that one out. We shall see how the durability over time holds up but for now I have no qualms or regrets.I also live in Minnesota where winters aren't for the weak.
I bought this Jacket for my son! He absolutely LOVES it! It fits him perfectly and he loves the fact that he has enough space to put layers underneath. He also told me that he loves the material and that it feels softer to him than his other jackets. I am very pleased with this purchase and most of all he LOVES it and it keeps him warm on those cold winter days when he is waiting for the school bus. Thank you North Face!

I have No problems with Puma, Helly Hansen, and Eddie Bauer etc. their sleeves fit me perfectly. Another major flaw about North Face is when the jacket is fully zipped up, the chest part is somewhat tight compare to other brands. I fell in love with the color of this jacket but like in love, I was let down after getting to know it a little better. My main complaint is that there is 0 interior pockets. 200 plus bucks for a down jacket and they can't even be bothered to give you at least 1 inside pocket. Unforgivable. I'll still wear it but I'm very disappointed, and as soon as something better comes along I'm out!
Loved this hooded down jacket! Keeps my partner warm and stylish during the cold winter months. My partner has been particular with finding the perfect winter puffer because he claims he is often too warm in them. This coat may seem thin, but provides adequate warmth, especially with the wind resistant features. The attached hood is an added touch to the coat. The zippered pockets are my favorite feature to any coat. Could use a hidden zippered pocket on the inside though.
I purchased this jacket for my teenage son, who is one of those typical "not going to wear a jacket" teens. He loves it -- it's very stylish and warm and comfortable. I bought him a mens' small and it's the right length for him, but has some room for layering underneath.The jacket is well-made, and is warm and has lots of "puff," without being excessive. I think this jacket will last him for quite a few years.
