Runs true to size, I tried a large and I was swimming even with a layers underneath. I returned and got a medium which easily fits layers also but more trim. I could probably have gotten a small if I didn’t want to layer under it. I’m 5’6” 145lbs with a 33” bust 28” waist. For reference I usually wear small/medium in Patagonia and size 6/8 tops/jackets in lululemon. Lots of room in shoulders/upper arms for those with broader shoulders. Warm until about -15. Nice and light weight but warm. Fast shipping! Great sale too:)

I'm 5'2 and 120lbs and purchased the M. If you're struggling between sizes, I would stay pick the smaller size due to the boxiness of the silhouette. The Nuptse brings the 90's back and the colour is true to the picture online. This coat is water resistant and not waterproof. It is wonderful for cold weather and I was very comfortable in -30 Alberta weather with this jacket. North Face did amazing as per usual. One star off for the uninsulated hood. The hood is large and accommodating for any head size. If it's windy, the cold will cut right through the hood.

The jacket is exactly like my daughter wanted. It will be warm for waiting for the bus this winter and its fashionable. While its puffy, it's not too big and uncomfortable. You can tell it will be warm too. It's short however, so the cold might get underneath on colder, windy days. But its not going to be used for skiing or anything. Very nice jacket and well made. It's the quality you'd expect from The North Face

This was a purchase for my daughter as a late year birthday gift. My daughter is 5’11’’ and we ordered the jacket in a medium. It was a perfect fit for her purpose, which was for a warm winter jacket but to cross as fashionable urban wear. She absolutely loves it.This jacket is very warm and obviously has an outdoor adventure purpose, as well; I’d certainly recommend for such usage, However, as mentioned, my daughter absolutely loved the coat for her purpose.
I bought 2 of these jackets in black. One for me and one for my 18 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. What I personally like about this jacket is that it is stylish yet, warm and lightweight. We’ve always owned Canada Goose coats but decided to give this particular coat a try. Let’s hope it lasts.
I bought a Nuptse jacket several years ago and I really liked the design of that older version. This model is on the short side and I'm not a fan of the stowaway hood but didn't see an option without. As above, the openings to the pockets are tight (had to angle my phone to get it in) though the inside is roomy. Lastly, I liked the fleece lining on the of the collar on the older version. It is absent on this one. That being said, I like this jacket well enough to keep it and it will serve its purpose.
Bought this jacket for my daughter. She loves it. The jacket fits perfectly with her fashion sense. The sizing is bit strange. Had to get a large for good fit in shoulders (she is never a large in anything- small / med is norm). My gripe is back in the day this coat use to be longer in the torso, offering more warmth. Also, I think it's silly to make such a down packed jacket without an insulated hood. I gave five stars because my daughter is very happy with the jacket.Daughter is 5'5" 120lb - normally a size medium.
I love NorthFace products and own way too many vests. I have seen this jacket on other girls and found it really nice. Unfortunately it's way too bulky on the shoulders on me and even if I sized down not sure it would look good on me. Sadly returned. Quality is excellent as well.
Best puffer jacket I've ever owned. I want it in all the colors. Kept me super warm in temperatures as low as 27 Fahrenheit. It says it is water resistant but felt like waterproof. It resisted all day rain at a Disney park. It is also windproof. I purchased small, I'm female, 5'7 and 128 lbs, 34D chest. It's true to size with enough room for layering although layering felt like an option with this jacket. You won't regret this purchase!
Overall great. A few pieces are missing to make it a 5 start. This was bought as a everyday errands runs jacket not a full winter jacket as it’s too short and missing a good hood/cap and sleeves are too short. But it’s great for the quick in and out of the car / store and other quick errands. It’s missing warm pockets - the inside of the pockets would’ve been nice to have them in fleece or other warm material. An inside sleeve so when putting hands in the pockets the sleeve don’t do up or your unable to put them in as it’s too puffy. But we’ll warm and nice looking :)
