I bought this winter coat for my daughter. She does a lot of snowboarding. The coat is nice, relatively warm (I would say down to -15oC) but a bit short and tight. however, it is good quality fabrics (what you would expect for a North Face product). I would definitively recommend it.

I just used this jacket on a ski trip to Big Sky. I loved it! I bought a large and wore 2 layers under and felt warm. It didn't feel super bulky. The wind was very strong and I didn't feel chilled. There are multiple pockets on the front which is great for cellphone, hand warmers, etc. I'd definitely but it again.
I’m 135 pounds 5’6 and ordered the medium. Fights perfectly with room for layering underneath. Well made jacket. Love that the logo is all black. Looks great with the matching insulated pants.
Nice quality jacket. It is light and breathable (liked the underarm zips) but also seems warm and weatherproof. I am normally CS and ordered and XS and there was a perfect amount of room to layer.Unfortunately the arms were very long (I often have this issue with jackets) and the design didn’t work for me. I am petite with no hips and I felt that the placement of the zippers added bulk to the top of my body. I think this would look beautiful on someone a little curvier with longer arms.
I got this jacket for skiing and I'm really happy with it. I was a little worried it wasn't going to be very warm but luckily it is. I've skied for 10 days with this jacket and a thick t-shirt and I haven't been cold at all. It has very smart pockets and even a pad to clean your googles/ lenses. It also prevents snowing from getting inside you if you fall. I'm usually size S/M... I got a S and it fits well. If you're going for a loose fit maybe get an M if you're usually S.
I absolutely love everything about this jacket, EXCEPT for the fact that it has no front hand pockets. It has one zipper pocket on the front in kind of a strange placement - near the rib cage on the left side. While I was pleased to find that the pocket is just big enough to hold my phone, it's kind of a bummer to not be able to out my hands in my jacket pockets on a rainy day.The cut, warmth, and waterproof features of this jacket are all top notch. I love that it has a slightly nipped waist. Insulated enough to wear in the snow with nothing but a t-shirt underneath. If there were only hand pockets, this jacket would be 5 stars.
Received this after wanting specifically a skiing jacket. The fit is perfect balance between curved to shape with enough space to move and layer. I ordered a L based on size chart and it fits perfectly. I am 5'2 and 130lbs. and 36DD It has a nice drop back and not too long in front-mid hip. Color lavender fog is exactly as pictured and super cute. It feels lightweight which I like for layering. Not sure how it stands up for cold -have not skied in it yet. This is not a boxy - gore tex style jacket. Feels like good quality, soft not crinkly. Will test the warmth soon.
I had searched for weeks before ordering this jacket and am picky because I run very cold. At first I was shocked at how thin it was and was expecting thicker insulation, but as soon as I went skiing with it in cold temps (-5 / -10 C) I was toasty (with an underlayer, mid-layer, and fleece underneath). I'm sure it'll hold up in colder weather too. Wearing it alone would definitely be a little cooler and I'll probably use do that for spring skiing. It is a deceivingly warm jacket and such good quality, looks adorable and fits nicely. I saw that it was snug fitting and I'm usually a small so I ordered a M so I can layer up, and I'd say it's perfectly a tad oversized. Get this jacket!!! So worth it.
