This formula combines a comprehensive array of studied technologies to target multiple signs of aging at once. The technologies behind The Ordinary "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% are Matrixyl 3000 peptide complex (with palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7), Matrixyl synthe'6 peptide complex (with palmitoyl tripeptide-38), SYN -AKE peptide complex (with dipeptide diaminobutyroyl benzylamide diacetate), Relistase peptide complex (with acetylarginyltryptophyl diphenylglycine), ARGIRELOX peptide complex (with acetyl hexapeptide-8, pentapeptide-18), Probiotic complex (with Lactococcus lactis lysate), in a base of 11 skin-friendly amino acids and multiple hyaluronic acid complexes. The Ordinary "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% formula differs from the original Buffet, as this formula includes a 1% concentration of GHK-Cu (Copper Tripeptides) which focuses on skin health (based on the natural role of these peptides in the human body) and has a very high long-term value to the skin. The inclusion of Copper Tripeptide gives a natural light blue colour to the formula. The total concentration of these technologies in the formula by weight is 26. 1%. I'm 41 years old and have been using the Ordinary products for 18+ months now. I have the best skin of my life! I have had cystic acne since I turned 20, and it left scarring. I was able to get my pores and general acne under control with the Niacinamide, but admittedly that didn't deal with the hormonal acne on my chin, just the regular acne. So I went on low-dose 2 month course of Epuris medication (kinda like accutane) and that did the rest. But I completely credit The Ordinary products for bringing my skin back to life after meds clearing it up. The uneven mess from years of scarring is almost unnoticeable now. But the really amazing part is that I haven't gotten a single wrinkle since using this Buffet+Copper peptide serum! I'm 41 and have almost no wrinkles! ... It's absolutely insane how well this stuff works. I used to have some crows feet when I smile and a few lines between my eyebrows. They're basically gone, or at least so faint I don't even notice them. I look better now at 41 than I did in my 20's and 30's! Plump, bright and clean skin with minimal pores, no wrinkles. Morning and night, I use the squalene cleanser (wiped off with a hot microfiber cloth to exfoliate), then the Niacinamide and Buffet+Copper, then the Moisturizing factors HA. That's it! I also use the moisture factor on my hands and neck/chest and those areas are also unbelievably smooth and wrinkle free. I can't say enough good things about these products.

I upgraded to this after being a firm fan of the regular Buffet and at first I wasn't sure, but fast forward 3 weeks and I'm in love.I was seriously considering invasive anti ageing solutions and professional treatment for my hyper pigmentation before this. But my skin is brighter, smoother and wrinkles (even those deep forehead ones) look less defined, and my hyper pigmentation on my forehead looks much better.I didn't see results for about 10 days and then it all just started looking better. Alongside this I've been using hydraulic acid each day and AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution once a week. It's bright blue, which freaked me out a little at first, but that disappears, and you only need one squeeze-full to cover your whole face.I'm so please to have ... I bought 3 The Ordinary products from Sephora or Ulta (cannot recall which) and now I'm back to restock direct from TO.I got the HA + B Vit, "Buffet" + Copper, and Pycnogenol 5 and love all three. The "Buffet" + Copper is my favorite by far, but I recently was using a very "natural" cleanser that had some Vit C and didn't think much of it bc it's just a standard rinse on/off with a small amount of Vit C.Well for 3 months I kept getting severe outbreaks of Angular Chellitis (when the corners of your mouth crack, won't heal, and the surrounding area even puffs up and turns red) and NOTHING was helping.I thought it was something I was eating or drinking bc I have sensitivities, then I realized I'd tried the Vit C cleanser around when the problem started. I thought I'd need a Doc to heal it after repeated outbreaks, then finally thought maybe I should switch to basic, mild cleaner with no vitamins.Surprise! The problem cleared up (WHEW!!) and I realized that when they say NO VIT C, they mean absolutely ZERO.That aside, this is the BEST for firming/plumping and works well with my normal moisturizer (Clinique 100hr Moisture Surge) which is like a gel, but has no real anti-aging, pro-firming properties. So adding these 3 Ordinary products to my regimen has essentially boosted my 100hr Moisture Surge x1,000 and makes it last months longer, too.I have sensitive, allergic skin so I was hesitant to add these to my trusted, gentle (but basic) day & night moisturizers (PM I use Clinique Moisture Mask), but they've all worked beautifully on my combo, formerly acne-prone sensitive skin.I'm SO impressed with the Matrixyl & Copper that is normally so expensive and you're stuck buying whatever cream base it comes with. This allows me to use the active ingredients, but follow up with moisturizers that already work with my skin.I highly recommend Buffet + Copper even if you're sensitive, combo, etc. Just DON'T forget your cleansers might have trace Vit C!This (and possibly the Pycnogenol) have really worked on a forehead wrinkle I've had since my 20's (I'm 42 now) as well as a deep wrinkle forming around the base of my neck. Both are fairly deep and they're quickly getting less noticeable. Even better, this combo makes my skin feel plump all day in an office (dry air) as well as at home with forced air/central air.I cannot recommend this enough! It's just fantastic! If only it came in a bigger bottle like the regular "Buffet"! Don't hesitate. This stuff is FANTASTIC.

I bought 6 bottles of this serum during the 2020 black Friday sale (a long time ago, I know) without having ever tried it, but in anticipation of getting great results. Then when I tried it, I was unimpressed. It did nothing for my skin and prevented me from using other products that were more effective. Luckily I hung on to the other bottles, because this past spring, my skin started to look extremely tired and dull, and my old acne scars (which are usually not noticeable) started to become visible. My usual skin care routine was no longer working! So I took a break from exfoliators and gave this product another try, which luckily brought the life and glow back to my skin! So bottom line: definitely consider this if your skin starts to inexplicably look dull. If ... I have been using copper peptides for about six months now after learning that copper peptides help with collagen production. This product is fantastic, my skin is vibrant, glowing and feels/looks more plump since I have incorporated this into my routine. I use it in the morning since this can't be used with retinoids which I use at night. The product is blue with an almost acidic odor but I really don't care. Smelling nice doesn't make products any better if anything perfume makes them worse. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking improve their skin radiance and wrinkles. I'm almost 30 and I have noticed that the fine lines on my face have diminished with use of this product in combination with retinoids and daily sunscreen.
I've used this formula for several years -- exclusively at night, under my moisturizer. It's a very simple night-time routine: cleanse, apply 2 drops of Buffet+Copper Peptides to face & neck, moisturize - done. My skin looks like it is 10+ years younger than it is. This is the only product I'm brand-loyal to. I've used lots of serums (including pricier ones), tried the version of this product without the copper peptides, and this is superior. Once a day is enough to see results -- use your other preferred stuff in AM, and save this all-in-one product for PM for the easiest, highly effective bedtime routine. If you don't mix it up with tons of other stuff and just embrace the all-in-one simplicity, and it's an easy product to love. I have very pale skin and it does ... So I came here to see if Buffet is back, not to write this review, but it isn't, so here this is instead: I absolutely LOVED the original. I spent over twice as much for +Copper because my regular is no longer available for whatever reason. I've tried this one twice now and have noticed stinging each time. I don't know if there's a reaction, or which product it's reacting to (I don't use Vit C) and I'm annoyed at the prospect of trying to figure it out because I love all my other products and my existing routine. I just want the regular Buffet back. Maybe I'm using too much, I don't really know. I'll try using less and see if that helps, but looking at the other reviews, I'm just not really inclined to invest in Copper at this point. I never needed it before, and I ... It seems unnecessary, and of course I do not know what the logic is, but it's coming off as a money grab to force Buffet fans to pay 3 times as much if we're looking to continue using our favorite peptide serum, which I could live with if the 3x more expensive version wasn't such a disappointing, uncomfortable, and frustrating experience. ☹️
I have dry, sensitive skin and my skin care regimen consists of The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser followed by QV cream. I thought I'd try a serum seeing as I'm in my mid 30s now; did the quiz and was recommended Buffet + copper peptides along with a couple other bits and bobs. As I didn't want to throw on a whole bunch of unknowns at once, I started with adding only this serum day and night to my routine.Good: Does not irritate my skin, no redness, tightness or itchiness.Bad: Kept getting like.. whiteheads? Not pimples but definitely squeezable. They stopped coming up 2 weeks after I stopped the serum (used the serum for ~3 months). I couldn't notice any improvements either, although in all honesty I had pretty good skin already. So, maybe for someone with problem ... So, what I've come to realize in my 30s, is that putting too much sh*t on your face is going to cause more problems. I had used Buffet before in addition to moisturizer and sun block during the day and my skin freaked out. So, I decided to dial it back and think a little more simply and actually feel my skin in between product application. Buffet has legitimately improved my skin texture and helped with some fine lines, but I have found the trick is to apply it only a few times a week. When I use it in the AM, I don't apply moisturizer afterwards, just sun block. In the PM, I put it on and wait like a full hour to see if my skin feels dry. Maybe over time you could build up to using 3+ products in a routine, but, honestly, just using this guy and some intuition over a few months has improved my skin. Buy Buffet!
