I don’t suffer from dandruff or dry scalp so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this. Around the time I received the serum I had just gotten my hair bleached. I’ve been blonde for over a decade and don’t have sensitive scalp at all but too high volume of developer was used and I ended up with bleach burns on my scalp. The hydration prevented the scabs from splitting and causing more pain. The scabs healed much faster than they would’ve without it. They were healed within weeks instead of months. The overall soreness and pain subsided by morning each night I applied this. It kept my scalp hydrated and sped up the healing process. My scalp is healed now and I still do like the serum. I like that the applicator is small and pointed so I can easily get the serum applied right along my roots. When using it nightly I do notice that my hair gets greasy quite a bit faster than usual. So its probably not something that I would use every single night especially since I don’t actually suffer from dry scalp. But it is still a nice addition to my weekly hair care to keep my scalp hydrated and healthy and it’s definitely a huge relief if I were to experience any future scalp irritations or dryness.

Another benefit of this product is that it includes Hyaluronic Acid which helps maintain hydration. I have problems with my scalp feeling tight and being very dry, this helps clear that up and for a way better price than I had been paying for no results or my hair to be weighed down. The product is a milky white color, and spreads very easily with fingers or you can get a scalp massager which feels AMAZING while using in conjunction with this product. I have been using this daily with no weigh down and I even have been able to go longer without washing my hair, I used to have to wash daily, now I am able to go 5 days or more! I highly recommend this product due to low price and great results!

It recalls medical shampoo bottles you might use in a hospital setting. I was also not a huge fan of the lack of smell. The shampoo and conditioner have zero fragrance and although this may be a plus for many people, I must admit to having a preference for stronger scented shampoos and conditioners. However the products themselves worked wonders on my fine, longish straight hair. The shampoo cleansed remarkably well without making my hair feel overly stripped and the conditioner was moisturizing but not heavy which any fine haired folks know can be a real problem. I normally find myself needing to braid my hair every night to prevent excessive tangling and have not at all after using the shampoo and conditioner twice now. That's a big deal! The serum I'm happy to say does have a very light floral scent. I have been using it nightly, however not having a huge problem with a dry scalp, I can't speak to any definite results. However it may be highly beneficial for those with a dry or flaky scalp. I can say it doesn't make my hair feel greasy at all and it absorbs right in so you could even use it in the day time without a problem although the bottle indicates it's best as a nightly treatment. Overall the Ordinary Moisturizing Factors Shampoo and Conditioner scored well for me. I cant complain about the formulations at all and will be seeking out their other products, just packaging appeal and the lack of scent.

I love this scalp serum. I have a dry scalp that is extremely temperamental, I have serious issues with flaking and even sores at times. I have to use products just for scalp issues, I love this for hydration. It revives the hydration in my scalp after I use my scalp scrubs and pairs perfectly with them. it also helps with a little moisture boost after shampoo. I do still have to pair this with a serum that uses salicylic acid and niacinamide and ingredients for sebum control but this works beautifully paired with those. You do need to be careful, I kept ending up with very oily hair and couldn't figure out why, I would have to re-rinse my hair. I finally figured out it was this serum, a little goes a long ways so don't overdo it, if you use the right amount it will ... MoreI love this scalp serum. One more ordinary product that is a win for me. I do hope they come out with more scalp products in the future, hopefully one with Sebum control ingredients, would love to see you them make a scalp rinse or scrub!

I received this Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA in addition to the shampoo and conditioner that go along with it. I have been using it for a few days day now. My first thoughts were wow this is a extremely watery serum, similar to the shampoo. It was difficult to place directly on my scalp because it kept running off my hands. I was eventually able to get this on my scalp area. I have been applying this before I go to sleep at night as recommended. What I noticed since using this product is that my dry scalp areas seem to be a little more moisturized/hydrated. Other than this, I haven't noticed any drastic change. Hydrates like no other but…

I use this daily as I have a dryer scalp then the average person (I think). I absolutely love the hydration aspect of it! The only problem I have yet to solve for is the correct amount to use. I don’t feel as though “a few drops” gets the job done as the instructions say because this soaks up quickly and doesn’t really spread out like a scalp oil would. However, if I separate my hair into rows and apply along my scalp it seems to create a greasy like look (maybe too much product?). So I’ve kept with the row based separation approach and only apply 3 drops along the scalp and it seems to apply good hydration without creating the look of being greasy. Outstanding when Paired with the Multi-Peptide

So after reading about haircare, I decided to balance the protein from the multi-peptide with moisture. Enter this delightful scalp serum! Using this in conjunction with the M-P showed immediate benefits and my hair was suddenly much more manageable than before. The dryness caused by the M-P was quickly eliminated, with my hair also losing frizz, resulting in me having bouncy, loose curls that are silky smooth - the dream hair I've never managed before! Even more incredibly, as I massage this product into my scalp, I can feel the heat escape. Following up this serum by running a wooden comb or brush has resulted in a distinct lack of tension at the base of my skull and my neck, and I have not had a single migraine since I started this product (a problem I've been suffering for 5+ years). I'd highly recommend this to anyone suffering from dry hair or migraines and definitely anyone using the Ordinary's Multi-Peptide Hair Serum.
