Absolutely delicious Tarka Daal! Lightly spiced, quick and easy to make. Nothing overpowering or bland. Just right. I loved having everything in the one product so I could just make it without needing to buy anything else. I love the daal from my local Indian restaurant but this beats it. My young son agrees! Healthy food, simple and ready in minutes.

An excellent product

I love these kits. The results taste just like the food made at home by my Asian friends and yet only take minutes to prepare. (Unlike rival kits that have you grating ginger etc.) I served this with Peshwari naan breads and it made a lovely dinner for two. I only used one of the chilis but might risk two another time.

I'm always on the lookout for really fantastic vegetarian curries, and this ticks every box - so easy to make, and absolutely delicious. I will certainly be trying more of the range. Again, incredibly tasty!

Fabulous dhal! Very impressed.

I made the dhal fritters with this, and it was heavenly. Crispy outside and a soft, spicy inside; they were a meal in themselves....we didn't get round to the salad! We were full after two each, but I may have made them bigger as we are a greedy pair.I would be equally happy eating this lovely dhal on its own with just a chappati.Very impressed

Quick and easy

This is so versatile, serve with other curries from the collection and have friends round or just with microwave rice for a quick tasty meal. Lentils are just right. Very enjoyable.

Quick and tasty

Comes with everything you need for the curry itself which is always helpful - I just served with some rice. The cooking of the spices separately always makes for a more fragrant and tasty dish. Suited two of us for a main but would also work as a side if you had another curry as well. Instructions were super easy to follow and it was ready in around 5 mins as the packet suggested.

Tasty, rich favour and super easy to prepare

Tried this flavour first time. Have it with rice and chicken and impressed with its tasty and rich flavour, and mild enough for children too. Super easy to prepare as it is readily cooked and no other ingredients are needed. Would buy it again.

Variable and having a quality drop

This has been my go-to store cupboard standby for years and I used to love it but lately has been very lumpy and undercooked. Maybe I've just been unlucky and had a bad batch but the spicy version was even worse. It could be an issue with sourcing ingredients or a change in recipe. Either way, please return it to its former self.

Very nice

In no time at all you have a nice dhal dish. I'm not a veggie, but love leggie food. I sometimes just have a bowl of this all to myself if the wife's out somewhere. I might add a tad of naga just for an extra kick. I'm having one shortly since management is out line dancing!
