I had it for about a month now, Works really well.-lv 3 tends to work really well for my white bread but it goes a lot higher if you need it.-The frozen butten adds the perfect amout of extra time so i don't need to gess what to change the dial to.-I used the lift n look feature alot befor i found my perfect setting, so i could check it but not cancel the cook time.-The slots for the bread are really wide so it can fit really thick bread in it perfect for muffins and such.-Great producet, looks good, cooks good, and its simple to use. Only down side was that the price was a bit more that I would have liked at the time but your paying more for extra features and good looks. I bought this toaster to replace one that was useless only to find that this one is just as useless. So disappointed. It takes an AGE to toast and by the time it does (barely) the toast is as hard as a rock. My $7 caravan 2 slice does a much better job. Come on Breville, we sold your product for years in our business without complaint. What has changed?

We purchased this toaster about a month ago, it looks good but it doesn’t cook very well at all. We have it on the highest cook setting and when the bread comes out it is hardly cooked, it needs to be put back in again for another cook cycle. Very disappointing purchase.

Super quiet and heaps of features! I love the ‘little bit more’ button for when your toast just needs that slightly longer cook time. It also ‘pops’ really quietly, which is great for not waking up the whole household when you’re trying to enjoy breakfast in peace! Highly recommend this toaster!
I purchased this toaster in April 2023. Absolutely love it! After having a two slice for many years it was a treat to have a four.It took a few goes to get the temp set correctly and cooking evenly but now that it’s settled in it’s great. I love the high lift for those tricky hot cross buns etc. and The quick check function is really cool if you’re wanting something no quite so crunchy.
Toaster is smart and looks good. It has 2 separate sections with their own controls which means that people can operate toaster simultaneously. The down side is that it is slow. We were cooking Vogel toast and it took forever.Maybe it has tried to be too clever but with not enough power.
Bought this toaster to replace the one we got 20 years ago. Very happy with this purchase. It looks great, and toasts well. I like that it has a fruit bread setting, but wish it also had a crumpet/english muffin setting. It is fairly quiet when the toast pops up. Features such as being able to add a little more time if the toast isn't quite right, and to check the doneness without interruping the toast cycle, are useful.
Looks great this toaster. But the issue is it just doesn’t toast. The heating panels are spaced apart and it takes forever. We are trying to toast sourdough, with no sugar in it and no preservatives in it. So it takes some cooking. But in this toaster we need more than 2 x max Cook cycle. It’s the worst we’ve had. Pity because other Breville products are great.
Trial and error to find the best setting, but seems to give a good light toast at 2.5. The little bit extra and lift to look functions are both helpful. My only complaint would be when using the defrost option - seems to overcook the top half and barely cook the bottom half. I can live without that function though as it seems to toast frozen bread ok without it. Overall, not wowed but will do the trick.
Great looking toaster! Cooks toast well does what its suppose to. Brought it as an upgrade for my family and they are happy with it. Went from a 2 slicer to this 4 slicer. Spend less time cooking. Happy with purchase
