These eye drops are an integral part of my daily "eye lubrication" regimen. I use them multiple times/day due to a chronically severe right dry eye problem %26 in the past couple yrs, the left eye is steadily going down the same path; more likely age-related having minor cataract symptoms as well as post op bilateral Lasik eye surgery over a decade ago. These drops give major relief to this eye condition which is why I always keep a supply on hand. I've tried other brands %26 find this one to be quite beneficial.

This feels more wet than (overpriced) refresh tears... But even this bottle is overpriced, though it's a better deal than refresh. Also 1 oz bottle feels better than tiny bottles that run out fast...The thera tears get absorbed into eyes compared to refresh tears which entirely leaks out of the eye. My eyes feel more hydrated with theratears, but THEY'RE NOT LONG LASTING for some reason, unlike refresh, even though tears leaked out of the eye that slight hydration last longer as if eyes were lubricated (with refresh)..Maybe it's good to have both. But I'll be switching to Thera because they're less greedy.

I bought these eyedrops because I’ve been having dry eyes lately. A couple days after I started taking these drops, I had excruciating sharp stabbing pains in my eyes. It started in my left eye, then, the next day was in my right eye. I mean, I thought I had glaucoma or something. I told my mom what was happening, and she told me that she had to stop taking the same eyedrops because it was causing her to feel like she had glass shards in her eyes. I couldn’t believe it! I stopped taking these drops, and the pains went away after two days. Please be careful!
These have no scent and they don’t burn or reduce redness/eye allergies. You can use them in combination with other eyedrop’s that do that if you also have those problems, like I do. These are just for dry eyes and I’m sure they are fine for any age. You can put the top back on after you twist off so that you can use it throughout the day and then throw it away at the end of the day, which when it will be empty anyways. These are great and they help my dry Eyes, and they don’t cause any irritation or anything. I have very sensitive eyes and these are essential for me. I will purchase these many times. The packaging is fine and the quality is fantastic.
This stuff is GREAT.As a person with a few medical issues and quite a few years on 'em, sometimes my eyes feel REALLY dry, especially when I first wake up. I keep these in a container on my nightstand so that I can easily use one when I first wake up. My eyes feel so much better then! I also carry a few with me, so that if I get into a dry-eye situation during the day, I have a quick, easy remedy at hand.My Ophthalmologist approves. Also, I have found that whole bottles of eyedrops can get into trouble of their own, AND when I've used eyedrops that contain preservatives, some of those burn and sting, the exact opposite effect one wants. So I get these little single-use guys, with no preservatives. Good stuff! 👍🏻
I inherited a Shih-tzu with chronic dry eye and she takes these along with her prescription eye drops. I love that it is preservative-free— I read eye drop reviews pretty carefully and I have seen that a lot of people say the preservatives in eye drops irritate their eyes, so we try to avoid those since our girl can’t tell us herself.I especially love that these individual eye drops are packaged in packets of six (or so), so I can keep a packet everywhere we might need eye drops— one packet in the kitchen by the meds, one packet on the nightstand so there’s no more getting back out of bed at night when I realize she hasn’t had her eye drops, and a packet in my travel bag. I can’t emphasize enough how convenient this is. Quality dry-eye eye drops are expensive and ... I can’t emphasize enough how convenient this is. Quality dry-eye eye drops are expensive and it helps that I don’t have to buy one whole bottle for every single place we might need to keep it!As another reviewer said, the little individual drop containers hold about 4-6 drops, so one little individual ’bottle’ holds 2-3 doses in both eyes!My veterinarian said her eyes have improved since I first got her, and I have been using these drops ever since I brought her home, so they must be working well!
It's been years since I've used these but I like what I've read so far about them. I'm writing the review to clarify that they are not preservative free as another reviewer thought. Sodium chlorite is a preservative. Most often, preservative-free eyedrops need to come in the single use vials. There are now some new multi use containers designed with extra protection in the bottle, maybe of a one-way flow valve, to keep the contents sterile but most multi use bottles require preservative.
These eye drops work great. Yes, it takes a leap of faith to buy the first bottle if you have been getting by on those $1.25 eyedrops from the dollar store because your eyes are so dry from staring at your computer, fighting off allergies, having to stay inside with the dust and the recycled air, wearing face masks, living on a polluted planet, and getting all the eye problems that come with aging to name just a few. But when you finally get desperate enough to bet $12 on a bottle of these Thera-Tears, your eyes will feel so much better you will wonder what took you so long. That is the good news. Now if they could just get it together up at Walmart. com headquarters. For a long time the listing said it was a twin-pack, but you only got one bottle. Seriously, two ... Now if they could just get it together up at Walmart. com headquarters. For a long time the listing said it was a twin-pack, but you only got one bottle. Seriously, two for $12 is too good to be true. One bottle for $12 is an awesome price compared to most drugstores, but still it was misleading and people were understandably upset. It didn't have anything to do with the medicine, though. They have finally fixed that and it says "single," one bottle. But now the title says 0.5 mL, while the pictures and the description in maybe 5 different places all say 1 mL, which is twice as much. Oy. Personally I got 1 mL so I'm happy, but I would be ragging on Walmart a lot more if I had only gotten 0.5 and I might have reluctantly taken it down to 4 stars just to try and put a ding in their sales, even though the eyedrops still deserve 5 stars. Also, by the way, numerous people have said their bottles were crushed when they got it. That hasn't happened to me yet. in my experience Amazon is the one who crushes everything from their insane packing. If I ever do get a crushed bottle it's going to be 3 stars and that would be unfortunate. So come on, Walmart, you have a winner here. So many people are loyal to this product because IT WORKS BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE for painfully dry eyes and Walmart has it for such a great price, please just get the kinks out of the listing once and for all and make it hassle-free for us to keep ordering it and have a general idea what we are getting. And thank you to Dr. Jeff for spending 20 years inventing Thera-Tears!Appreciate the pulpit. Have a blessed day
