Had a cheaper massage gun before this, the difference is unbelievable.I use this at least 3 times a day,I suffer with a bad back,tight calves, arthritis in my toes and plantar issues that are there daily. Using this before and after walks has made so much difference, my ability to walk more,and hill walks too has enhanced my life again. I also bought the mini to take on walks where I had driven further, to massage straight after walk. I use the Prime 1st thing in the morning to 'wake' back muscles and to prepare feet for 1st walk. Super easy to use, love the dampener head. Will also use the mini for holidays abroad. Highly recommended both

I have been able to sample both this product and the theragun mini, and the only reason this doesn't have five stars is that comparing the two, I found little difference and this product is more expensive. Granted, I don't have substantial or chronic pain to manage; I use them mostly after big workouts to aid recovery. Though larger than the mini, I didn't find it at all unwieldly to use, and only marginally heavier. It is extremely effective in managing DOMS. The battery life is great. I never have to go up to the higher settings, but even at the highest setting it doesn't cause pain. I think this is a great product.

Having read all the good reviews and with the discount I decided to buy this massage gun. However, despite the claim that the gun has some brushless technology and is quieter than an electric toothbrush, it is the noisiest massage gun I've ever tried. It has a high pitched squeal and a very noisy motor that makes it almost unbearable to use for more than a few minutes. This cannot be right and I'm wondering if it's faulty. Also the lowest setting is incredibly strong. Very disappointed.
Although it has a high price tag, this product is amazing and will save you money in the long run. It is powerful and effective. I have suffered with neck, should and back pain for several years due to my work and although skeptical that this would work I have to say it is amazing! Love using this product to gain a bit of extra range of motion prior to mobility work. Works great for post workout recovery as well.The only unfortunate bit is that, if you’re purchasing this product from North America, it does not come with a charger that plugs in to North American outlets, presumably because it’s coming from the UK. Had to go buy an adaptor separately which was annoying, considering it was purchased on the Canadian version of the site. Buyer beware, otherwise very happy with the purchasing experience and product
I have chronic tension headaches and burning triggers points that originate from my trapezius and thanks to the massage gun I was able to elevate a lot of pain. They always come back but with constant application of the massage gun Prime, I can keep myself in decent shape. It also helps with migraines to reduce stress while laying in a dark room. I used manual trigger point balls and devices in the past but this is by far the best pain management method. I would like it to be quieter on the next model as i worry the rooms below think I'm using an adult toy! I also cant carry much due to my back pain and this helps release some of that. This has been amazing for my back. I recently found out that I have been suffering with pain due to hip misalignment and was paying to see my chiropractor 3 times a week. After receiving this I have used it everyday for short bursts and it has made more of a difference than the 3 visits a week (I do not want my review to deter people using a chiropractor). While the price is quite hefty I personally would say it is worth it if you are to use it as regularly as I am. I also run regularly and have been using the theragun before and after running. It eases muscles post workout and prepares them pre-workout. My brother has borrowed it for use before and after rugby training. The different heads is great for different areas to get targeted deep muscle massage.
I find the pressure too strong - even on the lowest setting. It seems like a well put together product. Probably suitable for someone more muscular than me. On the plus side, using it for a few minutes at the end of the day does give some relief to my computer weary shoulders; although the Theragun is no substitute for a real massage . Overall, it's not the best purchase I have ever made for me
