I paid more for this product than I had for similar products bought previously because cheaper products often gave out after a short time or just didn't perform adequately. So I bought what I hoped would be a better quality product and that has turned out to be the case. You can use 2 timers on it simultaneously and the timer bell is loud enough that I can hear it even if I'm not right next to it when it goes off. I like the fact that you can set how loud you want the timer to be when it rings. It's sturdy and seems well made. My only criticism would be that if I wanted to do seconds for setting a timer, I can't do that. You can only set hours and minutes on it. But I'm still entirely satisfied with the product.

I love the ease of use, the large size, reasonable price, beautiful appearance and two timers. I dislike that the volume control does nothing to lower the very loud sound that is almost identical to smoke alarms. It can’t be ignored. The positives outweigh the unnecessary loud, shrill alarm and if the volume control really worked it would be the best timer I ever had.

It is a great timer except that you have to put tape on the back to keep it from blasting your ears.Seriously it has a volume control with three levels, and level 1 is excessively loud. This is followed by two other levels that are almost the same.I taped the back and it made it bearable. Sorry to harp on the same topic, but every time you press any button to do anything it makes a loud BEEP noise. When you put it to volume 0 it stops doing the sound when you are trying to program it, but then it also makes the timer silent when it reaches 0.Otherwise it is a great double timer and clock. Just put tape over the piezoelectric buzzer on the back.

Bought for my wife, and she loves it! She likes the dual timing, and the Repeat function is great for making follow-up cookies. The display was large and clear and be renamed for the clock/date as well, and she likes the magnets for sticking the timer to the refrigerator. Overall, there are great parts to the instrument, and we would recommend it.

It has an adjustable volume with 4 settings ranging from silent to "Screaming Loud." I bought this for my mother who has some hearing loss to the point where she has trouble hearing the lower volume levels of standard timers, especially if she was out of the kitchen. This one, we can hear very clearly. The LED display is clear and easy to read by anyone who isn't visually impaired. It's a little dark from a distance, but the blue backlight lights up whenever you touch a button on the timer to make it very clear to read.. There is a toggle switch on the back that switches between clock and timer mode. This counts hours and minutes, I believe. I don't think it counts seconds, but that wasn't a feature we needed. The timer beeps when buttons are pressed to set it, and I presume that's why it has a volume "Off" setting. I bought this timer to replace the discontinued Acurite #00531 which had a large display and adjustable volume and was an excellent timer for 10 years but got accidentally dropped and broken. This Thermopro looks exactly like the advertising photos show, so I'm not adding photos to my review.
This alarm has a nice big display and despite some non-intuitive controls (-min adds a minute, but it’s clear in the instructions) it works well. I like having two timers, the clock function is handy, and the magnets are stable and don’t bounce around when I push buttons. But setting the timer produces beeps so loud they are painful to my kids in the next room, and the first time it went off I assumed it was a smoke alarm. There is a volume control and I do have it on the quietest setting but it does little or nothing. I’ll use it meanwhile because I really need something, but I’ll be looking for a replacement right away.
The only thing wrong about the product was the sound quality of the alarm and the use of the sound for setting the alarm. The sound was of the same pitch and tone of a smoke alarm, very high and shrill. Turning the volume down to lowest setting did not help as it was only a slight reduction in sound. My rescue dog went into terrors, shaking and ran off, every time I tried to use it. Other than that, it worked real well, good visual from across the kitchen, liked the two timers in one product. My other rescue dog was not affected by the sound, so this may not be a problem for everyone.
I bought this timer because I wanted at least 2 alarms and liked the idea of a volume control. As promised, the sound is loud enough to hear from another room. It continues counting up so I know how long since I missed the alarm. So don't forget to turn it off. It comes wroth 2 batteries. The unit is easy to use and comes with a strong magnet and good kickstand for the counter top. Stays in place both ways. While I would have liked it to be a little smaller, the size makes for easy reading across the room. The timer looks sleek with its brushed stainless-steel exterior. Great price. Arrival was timely though all mail/shipping methods seem to have been greatly delayed for months.
