A well-made, versatile, useful product!

This is a well-designed and -engineered product. It has a large number of features which enhance its usefulness. I wasn't sure that I had selected the product with the best physical size, but I am satisfied now. I like having the control buttons on the bottom of the screen, which include the soft-touch control to illuminate the screen for ~15 sec and the choice to reset max-min humidity and max-min temperature either manually, or to reset every 24 hrs, automatically. I also have appreciated the ability to read max and min values on the screen all the time. Finally, it has two magnets mounted on the back, and a keyhole slot which permits hanging on a hook, screw, or nail. I have tested the accuracy of both the humidity and temperature readings and determined that they are consistent with readings on the other measurement devices that we have. Very satisfied!

I have a small vintage guitar collection, and they are stored in my finished basement, so I bought this digital hygrometer specifically for them. Ideal RH is around 47% for wood instruments, and this little device helps me to maintain that condition. Setup is a no brainer. You install the batteries, and you're done. That's it. Large number display with a handy dandy back light are great features. I only needed one, but ended up ordering another one for upstairs, so now I'm all set. Got the bases covered. There are less expensive ones that I'm sure do just as good a job, but for $13.99, I liked the looks of this one and it suits my needs just fine. I wouldn't spend anymore that though. Some of the prices I've seen out there for this type of product are crazy. TP55 Exceeds Expectations

I have had the TP55 for a couple weeks and love it. We put it in the upstairs bedroom to better regulate temperature using a window AC unit. It has been surprising to see how humid the air gets during certain times. The blue backlight is helpful but only lasts 15 seconds when you press the button. Touchscreen is also a nice feature. There are three ways to mount the unit: using the built-in stand, magnet, or mount on a wall screw or nail. Overall for the price this was an awesome buy. I may buy more for other rooms!
