Using this as an adult as well when I want no sun to get through. I think zinc sunscreens have come a long way in recent years. They rub in decently, but you still risk the white splotches, especially compared to less natural sun screens. I use this for myself, but it's nice that my own sunscreen works for grandchildren, etc. if need be as well. Getting it on sale, it feels like a good balance of quality, sun protection, clean ingredient list, and price. I still have/try some other sunscreens for lower spf, better rub in, etc.

Needed a reliable mineral sunscreen to protect skin for upcoming Sun & sea trip in Phuket. Wil update. As per my usual reviews. Stay tuned.After the trip our skin stayed the same tone and didn't darken. Skin stayed soft and bouncy with no chalky feel. Very shiny at first but the shine dissipates in 8 min. Minimal white cast. I love this product, I have used it for about 4 years now on my child (and sometimes me). I love that it is natural. The disadvantages that I've found is that it doesn't go very far: I feel like it's hard to spread, and I end up using heaps and because of the price, I don't like to waste it on myself. It definitely leaves a white cast. And, because you have to reapply every two hours, it is a lot of effort putting it on. It also stains the car interior. The good things are that it's supposed to be a safe option for babies, with relatively safe ingredients, and it smells great! I accidentally bought the smaller sized bottle but it still had a decent amount in it. I don't like the new packaging.
I like the Think sunscreen brand just because they are a reef safe brand however I usually donât vibe the best with mineral sunscreens. I usually stick to chemical sunscreens since mineral sunscreens have such a high rate of leaving a white cast and this one is no different. Really disappointed that they labeled this a âclear sunscreenâ because it is white and thick when it comes out. It thins alittle bit with your skin but just leaves it feel greasy. The white cast is slightly noticeable too even though Iâm pretty pale. Would not be confident recommending this to people with brown or black skin
As someone with super fair and sensitive skin and that cares about what I'm leaving traces of in the environments around me, I can't recommend this enough. I'm outside hiking/biking/skiing several days a week and this has kept me from getting burnt with no skin irritation or acne breakouts. This, unlike SO many other chemical or zinc face sunscreens I have tried, also does not make my eyes burn over the course of a day. I've been using this brand exclusively for a year now (I wear sunscreen more than 3 days a week) and am constantly pushing people to try it because I like it that much. Definitely reapplied, but this was also sufficient for a trip to New Zealand with lots of outdoor time.

A sunscreen that has safe ingredients (so good quality) that I use every single day on my face and body. I do not like that it contains a form of silica.Also I would prefer it if its ingredients were organic. The package does last a long time since it is an enormous size , after a while it needs shaking before applying and it can easily leak into your bag. It has happened twice already. The should do something about its package.It is a bit oily for my skin type (combination) for face use and it does not leave a really noticeable white cast but I cannot find a mineral sunscreen that meets these conditions even though I have tried a lot. One way to reduce its white cast is to apply it thoroughly, it does take much more time but you wont look like a ghost!

That way I can leave one at my backpack, at home, at work, or wherever. You never know when your friends might ask you to go do something outside and you are left completely unprotected because you left your big jug of sunscreen at home.For those who have a hard time applying this sunblocker or others, here's how I apply it:Put a dab on your fingers, about the size of a big blueberry (I just had breakfast), then spread it on the finger tips for both hands. Apply all over your face. I start from my forehead, nose and the top of my cheeks (the parts that burn first) then spread to the rest of the face. Don't rub until it disappears, just spread it evenly and ignore the fact that it appears a bit white. I get more sunscreen and then get my neck and ears. Assuming I have a short sleeve shirt, I now apply it on my arms, getting more sunscreen if necessary. Again, I don't worry too much about the white yet, just get it evenly and make sure there isn't a thick amount anywhere. Now once you are done your arms, look back at your face. Unless you put too much, the white will have disappeared or at least faded significantly
