This series was AMAZING. I don't read these kinds of books ever. My roommate was adamant that I tried it. Once I read this book I had to get the entire series. I finished the whole series in 3 month. They were addicting. 10/10 I absolutely recommend. Prepare for an emotional rollercoaster and plot twists. She makes it easy to follow along. Two books out of the series have slow start ups but TONS of background knowledge for the main plot. Enjoy!

I was intruiged when I had first picked up the book by the character on the front page, and when opening the book and reading that first page, I was completely enthralled with the character and her life. The story itself unfolded perfectly in my opinion. I'm not one for re-reading series once I've completed them, but this I've read several times simply because it is just a beautifully put together story. The characters come alive and jump off the pages and it's so easy to get lost and lose track of time while getting lost in this world.She's easily became one of my favorite authors. I'm getting ready to begin her other series, Sarah Mass does an amazing job at writing books!

When this book arrived I was so excited, and after opening, I was not disappointed! I collect any and all versions of Sarah's books and this is by far my favourite (alongside the ACOTAR one), I couldn't even put it on my bookshelf! It sits on display beside my bed!I think that if you love these books, it is a must-have for your collection. It is singlehandedly the most beautiful book I own.
Came in perfect condition with the foil print looking spectacular. The attention to detail is astounding and the item itself does not disappoint. A great series as well, a definite read. This book is full of ups and downs, and has adventure with every turn of the page. You can find yourself lost I'm the story, and almost feel like a part of it. Like the book so much I continued to get the rest of the series!
This is such a hyped up series, I was expecting magic! But, this fell short for me.I flew through the beginning with ease. I was so excited to see what all the excitement was about with this. I really thought I was going to enjoy the plot. When I got about 40% in, I just got bored. I thought once the championship events started it would pick back up but it didn't for me. I just could not get into this like everyone else.I did finish it (skipped a lot). I have heard book 2 is much better so I may try to continue on but not sure if I will go further than that.

This book is a young adult, but I thoroughly enjoyed it (I am 20 years old), my boyfriend enjoyed it (22 years old, male, and he seldom reads), and both of my parents enjoyed it (55 years old male and female). Normally, I am quite bored in fantasy books with a lot of world-building, however I could not take my eyes off of this novel. I HAD to read it all in one sitting. If you like laughing and feeling on the edge of your seat, this is the book for you. I actually laughed out loud, more than once, while reading. Celaena is an absolutely amazing character.
