The Thronmax S3 Zoom is a boom arm designed for Thronmax microphones. It offers a 360° rotatable boom, with a rotary knob that allows you to shift the microphone and make angle adjustments with ease. Dual suspension springs on each section of the boom arm help isolate your mic from structurally born vibrations, so you won't hear rumble and shaking noises. Also, the springs help secure your mic in place.

Been using it for a few days and really like... the look and practicality of it.Don't get me wrong, it does what it needs to do. However, the build of it just seems to be average. I'm actually concerned that if I were to tighten the hinges snug one too many times, I could damage them. However, I decided to go this route instead of the "Blue Microphones - Compass Boom Arm" because of the price and the 1-year warranty. Unlike the "Blue - compass," only has a 90-day warranty. Also, I'm using it with the "Elgato wave 3."
Good for lighter mics. I did have a little problem with it holding my 2.2lb mic but postion is key!
It broke immediately, less than 3 hours of use and it would no longer hold my quadcast S up even after tightening as much as possible before it would strip out, returned immediately. You’re better off buying the BLUE products.
It made by plastic and quality is very poor!
Assembly was easy and the arm is very sturdy even with my microphone on it. You do have to really tighten the knobs though.
This review is after about a week of use.Ease of use I would give it a 5 out of 5. I have this boom arm holding my HyperX Quadcast S and the articulation of this boom ram exceeds my needs and is able to be moved in and out of places I need it to go. I’ve noticed with the tension tighteners I’ve only had to set them up once and never touched them since. However for quality control I would only give it a 3.5 out of 5. I’m not sure if they’re all like this but the bolt portion that holds your mic is not fully seated and isn’t flush to the head of the boom arm. This causes the bolt to become crooked and when you mount your mic to it, your mic will always look crooked. I’ve tried everything I can think of to straighten it but nothing works. All in all it’s a great ... MoreThis review is after about a week of use.Ease of use I would give it a 5 out of 5. I’ve used cheap a boom arm few years without any problems. I purchased that mic arm but it is so bad quality and you can’t move where you want. It has terrible cable management. Few clips got broke when installed XLR cable.I don’t recommend that bad and cheap product!
