A great wheel

I bought this wheel to add to my Thrustmaster wheel collection and this has quickly become my favourite wheel. I particularly like the feel of the alcatrana which gives a great grip without the stickiness of rubber or the smoothness of leather. The larger diameter of the wheel enhances the driving experience combined with the weight allows you to feel every bump and loss of traction from the force feedback. I highly recommend this wheel

Bought this for the T300. Main games are AC, Dirt Rally, AM etc. I like the size and weight. It is lighter than stock wheel, hence more feedback. The larger size, though small, is noticeable, and it is hard to use stock wheel anymore. I use this wheel almost exclusively. If you have disposable income for this kind of stuff, I would definitely recommend this, if not you're probably good with what you have.

Had the 458 wheel, fell apart after 400 hours, rubber came off the plastic mouding. this wheel seems to be well built. Admittedly, I've only used it for maybe 50 hours, the over all feel and larger diameter make it feel more realistic than the 458. Also the wheel grip fits your hands better. If you don't play alot of sim racing, don't bother. The 458 will do. But if you spend your winters setting lap times, this is a worth while purchase. Games played: Forza 6, Dirt Rally. Forza requires smaller steering inputs compared to dirt where you correct oversteer alot more. Dirt is the reason the 458 wheel let go. But forza would have had the same outcome, just would have lasted longer.

I bought this after using the thrustmaster gte wheel that came with my t300. That is a good wheel for the money but I never liked the hard rubber construction of the actual rim.i saw a few reviews of the Ferrari 599 alcantara wheel and decided to get one. What a lovely thing it is to use. It's slightly bigger than the gte wheel, which I like but it's the wheel rim itself that is the main difference. The alcantara is a synthetic suede and feels so much better than rubber or leather. I don't sim race in gloves so I don't know how long it will last but early signs are good. All in all,very nice for the money.

Pros: Great, accurate recreation of the official Ferrari wheel. The alcantara rim feels great and the overall wheel seems well put together. Highly recommended.Cons: Only slight snag is the price; it's fairly expensive for what it is.

Good Points: Review for use on PS4 and GT Sport. The build quality is impressive and bolts onto the T500RS via the quick change mechanism, make sure it's up to date on the firmware though or the button layout won't work. The Alcantara provides a smooth and comfortable feel, more so than the original wheel. The gear shift paddles that are fixed to the wheel are extremely welcome, I was sometimes struggling with the fixed position paddles on the T500RS base unit.Improvement Points: Not the fault of the wheel but I wish there was proper support for the wheel on GT Sport but this is not Thrustmasters fault and you're still able to race with it. For the price I think they should also include an Alcantara care kit or a pair of racing gloves!!!

This rim is perfect in every sense. Dont bother with the leather wrapped 28 Gt, this is the one to buy. The larger diameter and thick padding of the wheel is perfect. Shifters ate smooth and not clicky. F1 wheel, Open wheel & this one, if you own an eco system servo base, buy this wheel. You wont regret it.
